College Students Panic After Confusing Priest for KKK Member

What  is wrong with these college kids anymore?

They panic over the least little thing, demanding a "safe zone"
(for example, freaking out over Trump2016 being written in chalk on sidewalk)

But I have to admit, this one as pathetic as it is, is hilarious at the same time over their sheer ignorance

Students at Indiana University Bloomington became triggered Monday evening after assuming a priest with rosary beads was actually a “KKK member holding a whip.”

According to news source The Tab, at around 9:15pm students began issuing warnings on social media that a man in “white robes” had been seen on campus.

How in the hell did they mistake a Rosary for a whip?
That is just totally asinine

Other students, uninterested in waiting for the claims to be verified, immediately demanded the school find a way to make them feel safe.
Because we are coddled pansy-azz pussies and need our "safe place" ....LMAO

After a flurry of emails and the likely construction of several safe spaces, students were eventually informed that the alleged racist was actually a “monk of the Dominican order in traditional white robes” named Father Jude McPeak.

“I’ve never heard of a brother triggering a email going around,” he told The Tab, also admitting he’d been falsely accused because of his attire before.

Resident Advisor Ethan Gill, who says students came running to him “terrified,” called the incident an example of miscommunication.

“This is what happens when there is miscommunication…” Gill said.

“And I see this picture. It’s a priest. With a rosary.”

Terrified over a priest? Really???
And these are our future leaders??????
Oh now THAT is terrifying !!

What happens to them in the real world once they get away from Mommy & Daddy and no one on college to "run to" for their safe space???


They ought to be ashamed of themselves
Might want to check out the facts first before you spread false rumors
And stay off the damn social media if all you are going to do is cause a needless, uncalled for panic on campus

How about the poor Priest who finds himself set upon with assumptions of being the worst form of hateful, bigoted scumbag because some (we'd ASSUME) educated students were too damned ignorant to know vestments from a klucker's robe?? ...or BEADS from a racists WHIP?

The students don't need a safe zone.....the visitors to campus do. The visitors aren't the threat to the students. The students are the threat to anyone their ignorant minds misunderstand from being different than themselves.

The Priest ought to DEMAND an apology from these narrow-minded hopeless students

Can you imagine had someone actually 'acted' upon their panic and assaulted the Priest?
 Thank goodness for small favors it never escalated that far

Think we as a society are devolving
And parents are partly to blame IMO, for babying the kids/teenagers/young adults instead of preparing them for the real world.
Many parents are afraid to 'hurt their feelings' so they give in to the kids every whim
