I dunno if I'm the first to say it or not, but I believe this gent was "activated", and had been "conditioned" some time ago. A LONG time ago, and was just sitting and "sleeping" until activated.
He has no record, not even any run ins with the law, for the past several years. Seems to have been a model citizen, avoiding law enforcement and"other" attention like the plague. Must be a reason for that - no one flies that low under the radar otherwise. There's paper on EVERYONE... and in order to (legally) get a full auto weapon, there are stacks of paperwork, background checks, and a whole raft of baggage that draws both federal and local law enforcement attention.
I'm also convinced he had "help". This package was too big to hide otherwise. 10 guns (one report has them all as "rifles", but I doubt that), and NO ONE notices them being smuggled in? Seriously? No one among housekeeping staff notices them despite "several trip to the room"? Seriously?
There were several reports of gunmen at other locations prior to the shooting starting. Smells like a diversion to me, to draw cops away from the active arena ahead of time and increase response time - and that means other helpers.
The package was pretty neatly wrapped up with a suicide as well. Sets off alarm bells. Now, he can't roll over on any "helpers" - dead me tell no tales.
I believe the activation signals have been getting sent out for 6 to 8 months now. No evidence for it that I'm willing to post here, though. Let's just call it a hunch.
