'Alleged members of a banned neo-Nazi group arrested on suspicion of preparing acts
of terror are serving members of the Army, the Ministry of Defence has said.

The men are a 22-year-old from Birmingham, a 32-year-old from Powys, a 24-year-old
from Ipswich and a 24-year-old from Northampton.
West Midlands Police is holding them on suspicion of being members of British far-right
group, National Action. Police are searching properties.
All four are being held at a police station in the West Midlands.

Police said the arrests had been pre-planned and intelligence-led, and there had been
no threat to the public's safety.

The men are being held on suspicion of being concerned in the commission, preparation
and instigation of acts of terrorism under Section 41 of the Terrorism Act 2000; namely on
suspicion of being members of a proscribed organisation.

'Broken right-wing'
National Action, a British far-right movement, was banned last year by Home Secretary
Amber Rudd.

Being a member of - or inviting support for - a proscribed organisation is a criminal offence
carrying a sentence of up to 10 years in prison.
National Action describes itself as a "National Socialist youth organisation" and says its
movement is aimed at the "broken right-wing".

Ms Rudd called it "a racist, anti-Semitic and homophobic organisation".
The official register of proscribed groups says it was established in 2013 and has branches
across the UK which "conduct provocative street demonstrations and stunts aimed at
intimidating local communities".
It is particularly aimed at recruiting young people, according to the list...'

@"Wallfire"  (nice to see you)
Yes they have,,,  But members of a military have no business using their training to terrorize citizens.
You agree?

The military has always been terrorizing citizens, just that it has always been approved by the governments, no one should be terrorized by anyone. Armys are use to control and terrorize what is seen as governments enemy's, so is it any surprise these young men use there training. If they had used there training to fight what the government see as enemy's they would be heroes.
To day its the right who are the enemy, tomorrow the left. The thing is the left and the right want the same thing by the same means, there are just fighting each other to see who gets the power, but that belongs to another post.
Strange mixed up world we live in.

Many Armies in other Countries Have Yes,,, Bit The US Army, not so much.
Actually, not at all, the last time Citizens in the US were Killed and Wounded by men in uniform was 1970 at Kent State and four student were killed and nine wounded, that wasn't our active Military, that was the Ohio National Guard.

We did have the Battle at Blair Mountain, the US Army was sent in but didn't have to fire a shot.

The 1992 Los Angeles riots, also known as the Rodney King riots, the Nation Guard was used again plus the 7th Infantry Div. and the  1st. Marine Div.
I don't know of any deaths that the Military was Accused of.
