Keeping another Campaign Promise
#1
Sound a lot like President Trump (I know That Pisses people Off,,,saying,, President Trump) has made up his mind on that Unconstitutional Obama Giveaway to Illegals called DACA.

People will say they were brought here as Children and they aren't criminals, that's True in a Way, but, they still will be the first to complain and protest when mommy and daddy are sent back, they'll be screaming and crying about splitting up the family, OK, don't split up the family, send them all back.
Problem Solved, then you have the gang banger's that fall into this DACA.
Quote:Trump has decided to end DACA, with 6-month delay
Quote:Senior White House aides met Sunday afternoon to discuss how to roll out the controversial move affecting hundreds of thousands of Dreamers.

I was taught in the Constitutional class I took, Only Congress could Change the Immigration Laws, not the POTUS like Obama did.

Quote:President Donald Trump has decided to end the Obama-era program that grants work permits to undocumented immigrants who arrived in the country as children, according to two sources familiar with his thinking. Senior White House aides huddled Sunday afternoon to discuss the rollout of a decision likely to ignite a political firestorm — and fulfill one of the president’s core campaign promises.
The administration’s deliberations on the issue have been fluid and fast moving, and the president has faced strong warnings from members of his own party not to scrap the program.

Trump has wrestled for months with whether to do away with the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, known as DACA. But conversations with Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who argued that Congress — rather than the executive branch — is responsible for writing immigration law, helped persuade the president to terminate the program and kick the issue to Congress, the two sources said.
In a nod to reservations held by many lawmakers, the White House plans to delay the enforcement of the president’s decision for six months, giving Congress a window to act, according to one White House official. But a senior White House aide said that chief of staff John Kelly, who has been running the West Wing policy process on the issue, “thinks Congress should’ve gotten its act together a lot longer ago.”

What was pointed out the other night though in the media holds true on this issue though.

Congress couldn't really around a repeal on Obamacare, when that is what they were voted into office to do. They cannot rally around even one of president Trumps campaign promises..

But for the keeping of Obama's illegal executive orders, watch them rally...

I'm finding it doubtful they are on our side, there in congress.

Here's another good article about this.

It won't let me copy/paste, so go here to read it:  An objective assessment of the unconstitutional hypocrisy that is DACA

From your source:

Quote:DACA is unconstitutional in every way. The Constitution states it clearly in Article I, Section 8, Clause 4, “To establish a uniform Rule of Naturalization.” Article I denotes the enumerated powers of the legislative branch — the the House and Senate, or Congress. Article II of the Constitution denotes the enumerated powers of the executive branch.

A simple perusal  will help the reader realize that we’re to be governed by the rule of law, not ruled by edict from an executive. There are only four sections under Article II of the Constitution, the final section establishing the grounds for removal of the executive, the president.

If we wish to have a purely constitutional discussion about DACA, it’s obvious President Barack Obama exceeded his enumerated powers and established an unconstitutional policy.

Now, the question is: Do we want to be ruled by edict based upon the ideological agenda of a ruler?
If so, then let’s go right ahead and continue on with DACA.
No, We don't want to be Rule By A Dictator or a Ruler Who makes Laws So people Feel Good and well Vote For That party!!!
We want Our Laws To be Enforced!!!

Quote:But the progressive socialist Left then loses any grounds to complain about unconstitutional actions. They can’t accomplish their goal of fundamentally transforming America outside the bounds of our rule of law.

It’s not up to the president — any president — to decide that he or she wants to do something without the legislative branch; in essence, that’s taking action without the consent of the governed. The American people elect representatives to be their voice, so any disregard of the legislative branch is a dismissal and disregard of the American people.

Furthermore, since this action by President Barack Obama was taken by executive fiat, then it’s no longer binding upon his departure — just as with the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), the Iranian nuclear deal, and, as we saw,  the Paris Climate Change Accord.

The Left in America can get as mad, angry, hate-filled and emotional as they want. Either they support the rule of law or they don’t. Bottom line, the progressive, socialist Left and the liberal progressive media needs to shut up, because they don’t have a constitutional reason for complaint.
Excellent Article Mystic Wanderer.
