BREAKING: Policewoman shot in the head at Munich metro station in Germany.

A female cop is reportedly in a critical condition after being gunned down at a metro
station in the city of Munich.

'The shooting reportedly happened at the Unterfoehring subway station in the city this morning.
German media is saying a police officer was killed after a passenger apparently snatched her
gun and shot her and point-blank range in the head.
Four other people have reportedly been injured after being shot.



Police helicopters are currently circling above the crime scene and officers have flooded into
the area. Trains around the station have reportedly been stopped and the entire area has been
cordoned off.
The gunman reportedly opened fire during a routine ID check.

Munich police wrote on Twitter: "At least four other people were wounded. One person was detained."
Officials have not given further details on a motive but said they do not believe it is terror related...'
