No Borders... Here's One Of The Reasons.
#52
On and on, chaos ran and no one seemed to care.

Quote:London double stabbing as man knifed on DLR and second attacked at petrol station.

A man has been stabbed in broad daylight in East London as the violent crime wave
gripping the capital shows no signs of slowing down.

'The unnamed victim was attacked on Upper Clapton Road in Hackney, just across the
road from a Shell petrol station. Police and London Ambulance crews are on the scene.

In a statement, the Met Police said: "Police were called at 14.55 hours to reports that a
male had been stabbed in Upper Clapton Road, E5.
"Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and found a man, aged in his 20s,
suffering from a stab wound."

Roads have been cordoned off in the area. The man has been rushed to a hospital in East
London. It comes just one week after police were called to a fatal attack on the same road
outside a Betfred bookies.

Earlier today a man was stabbed on a busy rush-hour train in East London.

This month London's murder rate overtook New York's for the first time since records began.
No arrests have yet been made. The man's injuries are not said to be life-threatening...'

Quote:London bloodbath continues as man stabbed on busy train during rush hour.

A man has been stabbed on a busy London train during rush hour as the capital's crime wave continues.

'The victim was attacked around 9am today in East London on the Docklands Light Railway.
Stratford International Station, where the attack took place, is just a stone's throw from Westfield
shopping centre.

The station was extremely busy as commuters used the service for their morning journey to work.
British Transport Police said in a statement: "Shortly after 9am this morning, officers were called to
Stratford International station after reports of a serious assault.

"A man was treated for injuries consistent with being stabbed, his injuries are not believed to be life
threatening. "A cordon was in place whilst this assault is investigated. Likewise, there were delays to
DLR services whilst enquires were made. There have been no arrests at this time."

The news comes as London has been hit by a spate of murders this year, with numbers surprassing
those in New York, famous for its notoriously high homicide rates.
A teenage boy, 13, who is currently in hospital in a serious condition, is the latest stabbing victim.

Six teens were stabbed within an hour and a half on the same night in Walthamstow, East India Dock,
Mile End, Newham and Ealing Broadway. Theresa May has joined MPs such as David Lammy and
London Mayor Sadiq Khan in speaking out on the issue of gun and knife crime.

It was revealed that children as young as eight are joining violent gangs in a bid to follow in the footsteps
of older teens. While public bodies rush to reverse the mounting problem, with reports of turf wars escalating,
there have been calls for more widespread use of emergency stop and search powers.

Met Police Commissioner Cressida Dick has approved an increase in the use of the powers, as pressure
on police intensifies.

Stop and search has been a controversial issue in recent years, with many suggesting it results in unfair
targetting of ethnic minorities. Emergency A60 orders have been put in place recently in Walthamstow and
Camden, resulting in police flooding the streets in a bid to get knives off the streets.

Knives are not the only problem on the streets of London, with numerous teens gunned down as part of the
worsening London crime wave. Tanesha Melbourne, 17, was shot in a drive-by attack in Tottenham on Monday
as she was stood with friends, and Amaan Shakoor, 16, was gunned down in Walthamstow.

Home Secretary Amber Rudd said it was a "mistake" to blame the London crime epidemic on faling police numbers.
She said: “It’s up to the Met Police Commissioner in London and the Police and Crime Commissioner Sadiq Khan
to decide how that money is spent. “They will have their views about how best to support their local communities.”...'
