The Blue Pill.
It seems Hollywood aren't happy about the law of the land and are now policing themselves.

Quote:Hollywood's executives forming task force to fight sexual harassment.

'Some of Hollywood's most powerful executives are funding a new commission to fight sexual harassment.
They've appointed a well-known figure to run the commission: Anita Hill.

Some of the biggest influencers in the entertainment industry are joining forces to combat sexual misconduct
in Hollywood by forming "the commission on sexual harassment and advancing equality in the workplace."

"This was the big unveiling," said Matt Belloni, the editorial director of The Hollywood Reporter. He said the
commission grew from a meeting called by "Star Wars" producer Kathleen Kennedy.

"Kathleen Kennedy is a major figure within the Walt Disney Company and I think that was the key to getting
some of these big CEOs on board," Belloni said.

The long list of supporters includes top executives at Paramount, CBS, Disney, Netflix and Amazon as well
as the leaders of high-powered talent agencies. And it will be chaired by Anita Hill.
"I never believed 1991 was the end," Hill said.

Anita Hill.

Hill became a national figure when she accused then-Supreme Court nominee, Clarence Thomas, of sexual
harassment. She recently spoke in Beverly Hills at an event supporting the #MeToo movement. "Everybody who
has participated in this movement and will somehow step up and make it how we should have been it 26 years
ago," Hill said.

The commission's formation, follows a cascade of sexual harassment allegations in Hollywood that began
with accusations from dozens women, against movie mogul, Harvey Weinstein.

"This is by far the most aggressive step we've seen," Belloni said. "This is the one that they're going to put
forth as a code of conduct for the industry to help combat the this issue ... The accountability question is the
key question here because it's all talk until there are consequences for this behavior," Belloni said.

Members of the new commission told CBS News they aren't doing interviews yet.
But they plan to reconvene early next year and say more announcements will be coming...'

To fight sexual harassment or for damage limitations...?
Remember, Weinstein was a 'powerful executive' too.

I quietly chuckled today, when I recalled someone once told me that life imitates art and what you see in movies will one day be real.
The jet-packs and hover-boots the television promised when I was a child, never came to pass and even when I became an adult,
I believed that it would be many generations after me before a house on the moon would be even contemplated for the average
person.

But, there seems to be some merit in what that friend said a few years ago. The San Francisco robot patrolling
the streets was the latest until I saw this one...
Quote:The mothers who share breast milk online.

'Thousands of women are sharing their own breast milk via social media groups in an effort to help others, a BBC investigation
has discovered. The Department of Health is now coming under pressure to issue more guidance to these mothers, who are
acting outside of NHS supervision.

Some experts fear the unregulated practice could spread infection and viruses such as HIV and hepatitis.
But advocates argue mothers are making an informed choice...'

Quote:'...But Dr Sally Dowling, from University of the West of England, in Bristol, points out women have always shared milk with each other.
She said the World Health Organisation (WHO) supports feeding babies milk from another woman as an alternative to breastfeeding
by the mother.

"The studies that have have taken place increasingly show that women make all sorts of judgements about risks for themselves," she said.
"They find out about the women whose milk they're acquiring - things like whether they washed hands when they expressed the milk,
for example, or any infections or tests the women might have had done....'

Please Note: If there's any mainstream media out there reading this, the usual caveat of stating authorities
believe someone who attempts to terrorise others always-always has mental health issues, is no longer
required.

We get it... I'm just disappointed that MSM doesn't have the balls to also report that they were told by...
(don't say it!) ...to add this into their articles. It's so 2017!

Quote:Melbourne car attack: No terror link identified but nothing should be ruled out says PM Turnbull.

'Police said the man who rammed a crowd in the centre of Melbourne was an Australian with a history of mental
health issues.

No terrorism link has been identified after a man drove into crowds in Melbourne, the Australian Prime Minister
has said, but he added that nothing should be ruled out.

The man who rammed the crowd is a 32-year-old Australian citizen of Afghan descent with a history of drug abuse
and mental health issues, police said...'

For anyone still a little confused with this report, the Afghan-national had mental issues. No terror took place
during the mowing down of people in this city.
There... you've been told. Now get back out and keep spending.

Quote:'...Nine foreign nationals are among the 19 people who were injured after the white Suzuki SUV was deliberately
driven into people. They include people from South Korea, China, Italy, India, Venezuela, Ireland and New Zealand..
A young child is among the injured.
Three people remain in a critical condition in hospital, including an 83-year-old man, local media said.

Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull told a press conference on Friday: "Our consular officials are working hard to get in
touch with their families and make sure they're aware of what's happened to their loved ones."

He added that "no terrorism link has been identified" but that "nothing should be ruled out."...'

That's right, it's not like ISIS is in the Philippines or anything. The guy was simply a nutter. Oh... and he deliberately drove
into people, like with cogitated decision. The familar act of a crazy-person.

Quote:'..."This was a despicable and cowardly act," he said. "But I want to reassure Australians that this is an isolated incident.
"We should continue to go about our daily lives the way we always do."
The area was put on lock-down and officers warned people to stay away.

Police say they are still investigating whether there was any terrorism-related motive behind the attack, but that early
indications suggest there wasn't one. Premiere of Victoria, Daniel Andrews, described it as "an act of evil and an act of
cowardice, perpetrated against innocent bystanders".

Pictures from the scene show the vehicle with a crumpled bonnet crashed into a bollard at a cable car stop.
Witnesses said there were "people flying everywhere", with the crowd rushing to help the injured lying on the road.

A second man, a 24-year-old who was filming the attack on his phone, was also arrested.
He was carrying a bag containing three knives, but is not believed to be connected to the attack and police say they
have not established any relationship between the two men...'

Quote:'...Footage shot on a mobile phone at the scene shows the driver, with dark hair and a close-cropped beard, being wrestled
to the ground and handcuffed by officers. A member of the public can be heard telling police "he was trying to run away".
The man, who is wearing a white shirt and pale blue jeans, appears to be unconscious as he lies by the side of the road...'

(Warning: Page Filler Below)

Quote:'...Officers can be be seen checking his pulse, and trying to revive him as they turn him onto his back by slapping his face.
They can also be seen checking his trouser pockets.

The white SUV can be seen in the middle of the road with its passenger door wide open and its air bags deployed.
The front of the car is completely crushed.
The second man, who was wearing jeans, a dark t-shirt and trainers, was arrested by officers on the steps of the station
and can be seen lying on his side as three officers handcuff him...'

A fellow-inmate, presumably?

Quote:'...Injured people can also be seen lying on the road being helped by members of the public, while sirens blare in the
background as paramedics approach. People at the scene have been described as "running towards" the injured on
the ground the moment the incident took place.

At the time of the crash, the area was packed with Christmas shoppers including children, who have now finished school
for their holiday break. Reports differ as to the speed at which the car was travelling, with some describing it as not travelling
fast, while others say it was travelling at around 60mph (97kph)...'

(Warning: More Repeated Page Filler Below)

Quote:'...Witnesses told Sky News the car ran through a red traffic light in a 25mph (40kph) speed limit zone, before it began running
into pedestrians. A witness told radio station 3AW that she heard screams and saw "people flying everywhere".
"We could hear this noise, as we looked left, we saw this white car, it just mowed everybody down," she said.
"We heard thump, thump, thump. People are running everywhere."

Commuters were warned to get off trams near the area following the crash. The area is closed off to the public while investigations
take place.

Reacting to the news, Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull tweeted: "As our federal & state police & security agencies work
together to secure the scene and investigate this shocking incident our thoughts & prayers are with the victims & the emergency &
health workers who are treating them."

British High Commissioner to Australia Menna Rawlings tweeted, saying her "Thoughts are with all affected".
The England cricket squad, who are in Melbourne for the Boxing Day Ashes Test, also tweeted: "Following the Flinders Street incident
in Melbourne, all England players and management have been accounted for and are safe."
The fourth Test will be held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground around one mile (1.6km) away from the scene of the incident...'

Thank God! Concerns regarding the Sky-funded and broadcast cricket game, I'm sure will be at the forefront of people's minds!

Quote:'...Victoria Police are asking witnesses to contact them, and have urged anyone with images or video footage of the incident
to upload it to their website: http://australiauploadserviceweb.cloudapp.net.
Police will be putting hundreds of extra officers on the streets over the coming days, but have stressed that there is "no increased
threat" to the public. The combination of Christmas shopping and cricket crowds mean that Melbourne city centre will be especially
busy over the next week...'

That's quite a costly kerfuffle over a deranged van driver, isn't it? Some might suggest that the very presence of 'extra' armed police
officers on the street could infer a fear of terrorism.

Quote:'...In January, six people were killed and more than 30 injured just a few hundred metres away when a car ran into pedestrians in a
busy shopping area. The car was deliberately driven at crowds by a man with a history of drug abuse, family violence and mental
health issues. That incident was not terrorism-related...'

Quote:Trump: Michael Wolff book on administration is 'full of lies'.

'Donald Trump says a newly released book containing damaging allegations about his administration is "full of lies".
The book cites former top aide Steve Bannon as describing a meeting with a group of Russians at which Mr Trump's
son was present as "treasonous".

It also portrays Mr Trump as being surprised by winning the presidency.
Mr Trump's lawyers had tried to block publication of Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House by Michael Wolff,
which has now gone on sale early.

What's in the book?
Mr Wolff's book makes many claims, including that:

*The Trump team was shocked and horrified by his election win
*His wife, Melania, was in tears of sadness on election night
*Mr Trump was angry that A-list stars had snubbed his inauguration
*The new president "found the White House to be vexing and even a little scary"
*His daughter, Ivanka, had a plan with her husband, Jared Kushner, that she would be "the first woman president"
*Ivanka Trump mocked her dad's "comb-over" hairstyle and "often described the mechanics behind it to friends"

The book is reportedly based on more than 200 interviews but some of the book's excerpts have already been
criticised and questioned. Still, even if only half of what the book contains is true, it paints a damning portrait of a
paranoid president and a chaotic White House, BBC North America editor Jon Sopel says.

Mr Bannon also reportedly said, referring to a Trump Tower meeting between top campaign officials and Russia:
"They're going to crack Don Junior like an egg on national TV." The meeting, which involved Mr Trump's eldest
child Donald Trump Jr, is being investigated by Special Counsel Robert Mueller as part of his inquiry into possible
collusion between Trump campaign officials and Russia to win the election.

Mr Trump strongly denies any collusion took place.

What's been the reaction?
Mr Trump said he had not given Mr Wolff access to the White House nor spoken to him for the book, which he said
was "full of lies, misrepresentations and sources that don't exist".

Twitter post by @realDonaldTrump
 Donald J. Trump
"I authorized Zero access to White House (actually turned him down many times) for author of phony book!
I never spoke to him for book. Full of lies, misrepresentations and sources that don’t exist.
Look at this guy’s past and watch what happens to him and Sloppy Steve!"

He had earlier said Mr Bannon - who was sacked in August - had "lost his mind" after losing his White House position.

On his Breitbart radio show on Wednesday, Mr Bannon responded to the president's criticism by saying he was
a "great man" and that he supported him "day in and day out".
After the president met Republican senators on Thursday, a reporter asked Mr Trump if his former strategist had betrayed
him. He responded: "I don't know, he called me a great man last night so he obviously changed his tune pretty quick."

Mr Bannon has also been criticised by another former associate, Republican party donor Rebekah Mercer -who has also
invested in Breitbart, where Mr Bannon is chairman.

In other reaction:
*A spokesperson for Melania Trump said she had encouraged her husband's presidential bid and was happy he won
*White House press secretary Sarah Sanders dismissed the book as a "trashy tabloid fiction" that she said was "filled
with false and misleading accounts"
*On Thursday, the White House said it was banning personal devices, including mobile phones, from the West Wing,
citing security concerns.

What did Mr Trump's lawyers argue?
The legal notice has been published by the Washington Post. It demands that Mr Wolff and the book's publisher
"immediately cease and desist from any further publication, release or dissemination of the book".

It accused Wolff of making "numerous false and/or baseless statements" about Mr Trump and said lawyers were
considering pursuing libel charges. Attorney Charles J Harder also sent a cease-and-desist letter to Mr Bannon on
Wednesday, saying he had violated a non-disclosure agreement.

The book was due out on Tuesday but publication was advanced following the legal moves....'
SOURCE:

And would anyone like to cite anything positive about President Trump from this article or book summary...?
No...? Of course not.

If this Wolff-character had written such a damning tract about Obama, I'm sure the mainstream media would
either condemn it or ignore it totally. It's just another biased tactic at derailing the Trump administration's
attempts at bettering the US public's situation.

It'll be interesting to see what can be dug-up about this ex-Hollywood Reporter-writer as he's already been
commented on of adding fiction to previous books.

Quote:'...He was previously best known for his biography of Rupert Murdoch, titled The Man Who Owns the News, which was released in 2008.
After winning national awards for his reporting, he was described in a 2004 profile in The New Republic as the "It Boy of New York media".

The writer Michelle Cottle tried to characterise his writing style by speaking to him and other journalists who knew him.
"Even Wolff acknowledges that conventional reporting isn't his bag," she wrote in the cover story.

"Rather, he absorbs the atmosphere and gossip swirling around him at cocktail parties, on the street, and especially
during those long lunches."...'
..................................

'...Wolff has acknowledged the difficulty with the book's sourcing, saying interviewees went on and off the record
sporadically or "would provide accounts in confidence, only to subsequently share their views widely"...'
..................................

'...People have started poking holes in some of the harder-to-believe anecdotes.

One passage, released in New York magazine, implies the president did not know who former House speaker
John Boehner was when former Fox News head Roger Ailes recommended him for the position of Mr Trump's
chief of staff.

But as the Washington Post points out, Donald Trump had previously golfed with him, and tweeted about
Mr Boehner multiple times.

Twitter post by @realDonaldTrump:
"Speaker John Boehner, who I like, should never have agreed to raise taxes because the
Republicans got absolutely nothing for it!"

Former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair has described an allegation about him in the book as "absurd" and "a
complete fabrication". According to The Times newspaper, Wolff says Mr Blair shared a "juicy rumour" with
[i]Mr Trump's son-in-law that the UK government had his campaign under surveillance...'

Gossip?!
Edith Head Gives Good Wardrobe.
This may have happened to you, a moment when you look around and wonder what the hell has happened
to the system you've always accepted as normal.

Today's news reports will always twist an actual account for reasons that are many and in these worrying days
of cynical, biased reporting for the sake of ratings, we can sometimes see that an overall general view is lost
in the narcissistic drafts of Journalists trying to carry a narrative.
Like it, agree with it or not, it's just life.

But when a crime is reported and for various legal reasons the formation of an informative article is muzzled,
is it still fair to a reader to offer such a story as below...? Ignoring the almost 'Once upon a time'-style at the
beginning of the article, it seems that reporting the death of a Swedish Journalist strangely manifests into a
semi-advertisement of a art event.

Maybe it's just me and I don't see how a killing, a dismemberment of a human in a submarine and a attempt
to dispose of the parts, connects to naked people dancing around for the sake of 'creative artistry'
Again, has the world changed?!!

From The Guardian:

Quote:A Copenhagen killing: the story behind the submarine murder.

'A bearded Icelander in a boiler suit starts pounding the exposed strings of the disembowelled piano in front of him,
and the space below deck begins pulsating with distorted, echoing rhythms.

To transform the sound, the man’s plucking and palming is being run through a laptop, an iPad and other electronics
by Andreas Wetterberg, a member of Illutron, a floating art collective moored off the Copenhagen peninsula of Refshaleøen.

But the piano is just the beginning. “Things are only going to get crazier now that we can play around with rocket engines and
all that stuff,” he says of the experimental music scene on this former bridge-laying barge. “There’s a group of us doing stuff
with old pulsejet engines – it’s basically a very primitive jet engine –but imagine it being used as a musical instrument:
it has a tone to it which is really wild.”

It was a similar fusion of art and industrial technology that enthused Peter Madsen – the rocket maker suspected of murdering
Swedish journalist Kim Wall – when he moved his workspace to this same barge a decade ago.

Madsen built a cannon on board which he set up in Copenhagen’s City Hall Square, encouraging people to let him destroy
possessions like MP3 players and phones by shooting them into a concrete wall. His home-built submarines Kraka and Nautilus
were used in a spectacular Submarine Ballet, where dancers performed half-submerged in the middle of Copenhagen harbour.
Nautilus itself was launched in 2008 with an all-night party on this same cramped lower deck.

But with prosecutor Jakob Buch-Jepsen set to charge the 46-year-old with the murder of 30-year-old Kim Wall, it’s an association
most want to forget. “It makes me really sad, because this fantastic, creative environment is going to be forever connected with this,”
says an artist who shared a rusty hangar with Madsen on Refshaleøen, the former shipyard where Illutron is now based, back in 2005.
“Not all people are into killing other people just because they’re alternative.”

He’s been meeting others who were close to Madsen a decade ago to try to make sense of it. “It’s like you have a small village and
the fool in the village did something that can never be forgiven. It’s been really hard for all of us, although obviously not as hard as for
Kim’s family.”

Wall, whose work had featured in the Guardian, New York Times and Time magazine, joined Madsen on board Nautilus on the evening
of 10 August. Her boyfriend raised the alarm early the next day when she failed to return home.

Madsen initially claimed to have dropped her off on a quay near Illutron, but later admitted that he had dumped her body in the sea,
saying she had died in an accident on board.

Kim Wall.

Her torso, with its head, arms and legs sawn off, was found two weeks later washed up on a beach on nearby Amager island.
There were 15 stab wounds on the body, 14 of which were around the genital area.
In the weeks running up to the Illutron event, police had found her head and legs and a saw in bags weighed down with metal,
and said they had discovered videos of women being decapitated on Madsen’s computer. They’ve since found her two arms.

Despite this grim backdrop, the atmosphere on board Illutron at the Pulseworks sound art event is positive. Enthusiasts descend
on the artists to ask questions about microphones and looping algorithms. Others seem to be there simply for a few beers with
like-minded people.
There are people in their early 20s, others in their late 50s; some fashionable in an arty, alternative way, others very much not so.

Madsen’s parents split when he was six. He went to live with his 69-year-old innkeeper father – who Madsen would later compare
to the commander of a Nazi concentration camp for the cruelty he had inflicted on his half-brothers. But his father encouraged his
son’s obsessions with rockets, submarines and balloons, even building him a workshop at their home in a small village 100km
west of Copenhagen.

By the time he was 15, Madsen was devoted to his projects to the exclusion of all else, with little in the way of a social life, and after
he turned 18, no time to complete his engineering studies or get a normal job.
When he came to Refshaleøen in around 2004, aged 33, to finish building his second submarine, Kraka, it transformed him.

“Our circle and social life exploded, and all the off-the-wall people who were here completely opened my eyes,” Claus Nørregaard,
who worked with Madsen on Kraka, tells journalist Thomas Djursing in the book Rocket Madsen: Denmark’s DIY Astronaut.

Half Machine, a dance collective based in Freetown Christiania, the giant squat which borders the peninsula, bought an industrial
barge at scrap prices in 2007, and Madsen moved his workshop onboard. “The parties were filled with robots and strange buttons
you could push which made things happen,” Nørregaard remembers.

“Everywhere there were flashing lights, floating platforms with fires and DJs on. People ran around naked, stood on their heads or
crawled around the tower. It was all about being as strange as possible.”

Half Machine was from its beginnings about technology. Inspired by the Burning Man festival and contemporary circus, and with
“meltage man and machine” as its underlying theme, its first event in Christiania in 2003 featured things like a “human robot”,
where the audience could pull levers to move the arms and legs of a suspended dancer.

But the people behind it were dancers, artists and musicians, so anyone, like Madsen, who could actually weld, was welcome.

Refshaleøen is now at the point where artists are starting to get priced out by design studios and computer games companies.
Noma, voted the world’s best restaurant four times, is set to reopen on its fringes in February. Its former head chef, Matt Orlando,
opened his own restaurant here, Amass, in 2013. The enormously successful food market Copenhagen Street Food plans to
move here.

But at the time Madsen arrived it was deserted. The pension funds which had bought the land when the shipyard went bankrupt
in 1996 delayed building apartments, judging that there were too many competing harbourside developments.
And they struggled to rent out the empty workshops, hangars and shipbuilding halls. Madsen moved into a rusty hangar beside
a windswept expanse of flat concrete slabs.

“It was a creative environment where there was space for being different and doing unusual things,” says the artist who shared
space with Madsen. “Peter obviously lived in the hangar, which I didn’t mind.”

Although it was only a 20-minute cycle ride from central Copenhagen, Refshaleøen was a world apart, with views across the Sound,
the straits separating the city from Sweden, and to three offshore forts. Other artists and musicians rented out buildings on the island
as studios, and a small alternative community lived in brick buildings among the deserted offices, workshops and rusty perimeter
fences, giving the island the feel of a post-apocalyptic village with half-crazed inhabitants welding strange machines out of scrap.

Madsen, in his early 30s, became involved in group sex and alternative swingers’ events, a preference which is likely to feature
prominently in his upcoming trial.

“He enjoyed talking about it, so we all knew that he was promiscuous, but we all thought it was in a respectful way,” the artist says.
“He was a sadist. He would call himself a sadist.”

The submarines Madsen had built had already made him a well-known figure in Copenhagen. But when he teamed up with Kristian
von Bengtson, an architect who had done work for Nasa, to work on an amateur attempt to send a manned rocket into space,
he became a celebrity. The launch of Copenhagen Suborbitals’ HEAT-1X rocket in 2011 was covered by newspapers and television
stations across the world...'

There's a lot more in the article, but it seems to lean on the idea that struggling art outweighs the tragedy of Ms. Kim Wall.
But it seems that the Journalist is aligning these two subjects for some strange reason. This isn't news of course, it's ruminating
in a manner that once again, reveals the guileful arrogance of the bathetic.

Or maybe it's all just a filler!

In my humble opinion, this guy -Vee, hit's the nail firmly on the head!

Quote:Hillary Clinton trolls Trump in a surprise appearance at the 2018 Grammys.

'Hillary Clinton made a surprise appearance on Sunday night in a Grammy Awards comedy bit that took a jab at President Trump...'

I think it was a funny moment. I didn't watch the Grammy Awards, but I saw the article on television and smiled at the trolling.
The appearance was humorous, but I think it could be argued that it was also another snarky insult from a bubbled-elite that
will always be unaffected by the laws and regulations of whoever's in the White House.

And a dubiously-accurate book about a current sitting President -being read out on a music celebration isn't what I'd suggest
for an entry to any award in this show. But that's just me -thinking the award means something.

Quote:'...The former presidential candidate, along with Cher, Snoop Dogg, Cardi B, John Legend and DJ Khaled were among those who
read excerpts from Michael Wolff's "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House," the hit book about Trump's first year in the White
House.

The bit shows Grammy host James Corden holding auditions for the book reading in hopes of nabbing next year's best spoken
word album with famous musicians trying out for the coveted role...'
Well, the words from Wolff's book are spoken, so I guess...

Quote:'...Clinton's face was covered by the book when she first appeared on screen in the pre-taped sketch, but the crowd cheered
when she lowered the book to reveal her face. Clinton read the famous line about Trump's love for fast food:
"He had a longtime fear of being poisoned.
One reason why he liked to eat at McDonalds.
No one knew he was coming and the food was safely pre-made."...'

And apart from the sideways-swipe at Trump's weight, this is very true.
A President can't just order food in on a whim, security is a major obstacle for such a dangerous vagary. Vetting has to made all
the way and it's not just the person in the Oval Office, it's family members too.

It's not like a President can order sixty-five thousand dollars-worth of pizzas and hotdogs for consumption on a moment's notice
and fly them into the White House from Chicago... oh wait a minute.
I forgot Wikileaks for a moment and omitted to say it was the deplorables' tax dollars too.

Quote:'...The Grammys producers reached out to Clinton's camp a couple of weeks ago. They toyed with a couple of different passages
from the book before settling on the excerpt about Trump's McDonald's habit, according to a person who was involved with the
taping, which took place last week in New York City...'

Those West-Coast guys... they're always up for a giggle. I'm just surprised the burnt-out ass-bandit, English comedian
(leave it alone, BIAD!)... didn't have a glass of water on a pedastal beside Mrs. Rodham Clinton with a verdant-hued
globule floating in it.
Yer' know, just for the non-aimed 'funnies'.

Quote:'...The gag was originally only going to include two or three other people, but it grew over the time, the source said.
Wolff had no immediate comment on the Grammys bit...'

Oh, I bet he didn't!

Quote:'...The sketch has already drawn the ire of at least one prominent White House figure.
US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley fired off a tweet on Sunday night shortly after the bit aired.
"I have always loved the Grammys but to have artists read the Fire and Fury book killed it," Haley tweeted. "Don't ruin great music
with trash. Some of us love music without the politics thrown in it."...'

Good-Lord, woman...! You can't comment like this on artists! These are special people, high-moral-thinking people... who can
see above what those they seek to entertain in order to bring light to this darkened society.

Quote:'...Haley took to the radio waves on Thursday to say that a rumor sparked by the book is "absolutely not true," referring to a detail
in "Fire and Fury" that alleges that she carried on an affair with President Trump...'

Er, forget the 'artist' comment I made, this hack-writer wrote down rumours, innuendo and smearing-grudges, butter-patted them
into a semi-fictional novel that Wolff and his agent would swear was the gospel truth, then hurled it into a Trump-hating environment.
Women are trollops now, when it suits, huh?

Quote:'..."Fire and Fury" has sold 1.7 million copies, according to publisher Henry Holt & Co. The book has had remarkable staying power.
It held onto the No. 1 spot on Amazon's best selling books list for almost the entire month of January.
Over the weekend, it slipped to No. 2 -- but the Grammys may give it another shot of publicity...'
CNN:
Thank you CNN for another morsel from the Trump-Hating buffet-car, your train just keeps a-rumblin'
Apparently, there's been collusion between the past Clinton candidate people and the FBI to utilise it's surveillance capabilities
on Donal... never mind.

Even though the mainstream -or Establishment newspapers rarely report it, their sales have been diminishing
for several years now for various reasons.

Technology made a dent, but in my view, the writing was on the wall for a long time before the internet arrived
on mobile phones. Some... a few who were lucky enough to have access to newspapers and television news
from more than one country, -and had a conscience of decency, realised that apart from the articles that were
read or printed out in parrot-fashion, there was also a form of control.

That control could be sometimes debated. Schedules and advertising revenue is important and a story that
may seem imperative to one person, could be deliberately missed out due to the simple logistics of running
a money-burning, time-sensitive news outlet.

Of course, newspapers can only deliver old news... the bullsh*t perception Hanks and Streep imply in their
movie is far from the mark. I'd be surprised if a Journalist has ever spoken to a Press-hand!
(I suggest this from first-hand knowledge of my own work and my father's)

Even now, the information that is finalised by 10.30.pm -and that's calling it close, is what the reader wakes
up to the next morning. So one can see why this dinosaur is struggling.

But the Establishment television is the real concern when it comes to the idea of control.
I'll write further during this article below.

Quote:Theresa May announces review into future of newspapers.

'Theresa May has announced a review into the future of the newspaper industry, warning that the closure
of hundreds of titles was a "danger to our democracy".

In a speech in Manchester, she warned that the decline of "credible" news providers left the public "vulnerable
to news which is untrustworthy"...'

On it's face, this makes sense. 'Fake News' is rife through other conduits and could influence a political outcome.
But this where the whole problem abides, the established view that only information that mainstream media
provides is the correct one. The idea of freedom is a long debate, but the notion that a pesron -vulnerable or not,
cannot make a free decision on which is false, manipulating news, is contriving in itself!

Yes, there are many alternative news outlets, the same as their millions of opinions around the world.
Why is it the mainstream medium the one that Theresa May is concerned about?
Because of the willingness to report what the Establishment deem appropriate for those they're supposed to
serve. That mild 'thought-control' has worked for many generations.

Quote:'...The review will look into sustainable funding models for the printed press at national, regional and local level.
The prime minister said high-quality journalism was a "force for good".
"Good quality journalism provides us with the information and analysis we need to inform our viewpoints and
conduct a genuine discussion," she said...'

Funding by the British Government...! If it wasn't for the fact that most -if not all the major newspapers print the
same narrative, I'd say the BBC are going to have brothers and sisters!
'The force for good' comment is a little worrying too!

Quote:'..."It is a huge force for good. But in recent years - especially in local journalism - we've seen falling circulations,
a hollowing-out of local newsrooms, and fears for the future sustainability of high quality journalism."...'

I'll hold my tongue on this comment, it would be easy to say that one's forces need propping-up when they're
losing a war. Journalistic ethics are rare now and even then, the mind-set rarely alligns with the common-man.
I say that with all respect to Journalists I've known.

'...Research by Press Gazette in December 2016 found that 46 regional and local titles had closed in the previous
18 months, with big players such as Trinity Mirror and Johnston Press among those shutting or merging long
-established titles...'

Yeah, don't mention Gannett though!!

Quote:'...The trade publication said there were 198 fewer regional and local titles than in 2005.

"Here in Greater Manchester, several local newspapers have closed, including the Salford Advertiser, the Trafford
Advertiser and the Wilmslow Express," Mrs May said. "This is dangerous for our democracy. When trusted and
credible news sources decline, we can become vulnerable to news which is untrustworthy."...'

From this paragraph, I'm reading that the very front-line of narrative control is being swayed by other options.
Usually, politicians don't give a monkey's-uncle about local papers and tend to draw-in favours from only the top
editorials.

It seems to me that the internet and it's beguiling lures of conjecture and comment-access, is waking up to the
idea that an analysis from someone who's never lifted a shovel in their lives, isn't a good view on current reality.

Quote:'...The review, whose chair will be announced in due course, will consider whether content providers are receiving a
fair share of digital advertising revenue and how their data is collected and distributed by social media platforms
such as Facebook and Google.

It will also look at "low-quality news" and the prevalence of "clickbait" - a term used to describe sensational online
headlines designed to drive traffic to websites - and whether "commercial incentives" driving the practice can be
tackled...'

Now there's an example of the pot-calling-the-kettle-black!!!
Click-bait...
'...‘SHE MUST OBEY’ Imam's rules for good Muslim wives… including brides must be ready for sex...' -The Sun.

'Robert De Niro disguises himself as a union boss in the meat-packing district as Martin Scorsese continues
filming $125m The Irishman..' -The Daily Mail.

'...Panic in America as millions receive tsunami warning alert by mistake...' -The Mirror.
(All of America?!)

I think that ship has sailed.

Quote:'...It will also look at what role the government can play in maintaining a diverse and vibrant press landscape or
whether solutions should be left up to the industry.

The News Media Association said viable business models must be found to ensure the survival of local journalism.
"Through digital platforms, news content is more widely consumed than ever before but the revenues to sustain the
investment in that quality content are challenged," said its chair David Dinsmore.

Many national papers have seen sharp declines in their print circulation in recent years, as more people access the
news online. The Independent closed its print edition in 2016, while the Guardian and Observer recently went tabloid
as part of a move to reduce the newspaper's losses, following other titles such as the Times...'

I tend to steer clear of thee Guardian, unless I need to read a poorly-twisted article that favours upper-middle-class
city dwellers. I don't access the Observer at all.

By the way, changing a broadsheet into a tabloid doesn't work The amount of money acquired from advertising on
a half-page in a broadsheet can always be negotiated and it's still revenue at the end of the day.
Fooling oneself that half a paper saves money and it's a simple case of adding more pages isn't the answer.
A page has two sides and after a month, it becomes deemed an extra cost.

Been there and I still have the T-shirt!

Quote:'...Amid speculation about further consolidation in the sector, the Mirror Group is currently in talks to buy the Daily Express,
Sunday Express and Daily Star from Richard Desmond's Northern & Shell...'
THE BBC:

I'll be watching this closely.
Edith Head Gives Good Wardrobe.
After the last posting above, where the UK Government were allegedly concerned with what their country's masses may
or may not be reading online, I was surprised that by the end of that week, this appeared in the major UK newspapers
and television news-outlets...

Quote:Mirror buys Express titles from Richard Desmond.
'The owner of the Daily Mirror has agreed to buy the company behind titles including the Daily Express, the Daily Star
and magazines such as OK!

Trinity Mirror is to pay £126.7m for the publishing assets of Northern & Shell, which is chaired by Richard Desmond.
Sale talks were announced in September, but a deal between the two has been on the cards for some time.
The sale brings to an end Mr Desmond's 18 years as a UK newspaper owner.

Northern & Shell's publishing assets include the Daily Express, Sunday Express, Daily Star and Daily Star Sunday,
as well as three celebrity magazines, OK!, New! and Star. Simon Fox, chief executive of Trinity Mirror, said: "Northern
& Shell's titles have a large and loyal readership, a growing digital presence and a stable revenue mix and offer an
excellent fit with Trinity Mirror."

Speaking to the BBC's Today programme, he said: "It's a very wise investment. We've had plenty of time to think about
this carefully." He said the deal would lead to cost savings, as the titles could pool their resources.
"For example, [instead of] sending two reporters to a football game, we can send one." Trinity Mirror expects the deal to
lead to savings of £20m a year.

Mr Fox pledged that the publications would retain their identities: "The Daily Express is not going to become left-wing
and the Mirror is not going to become right-wing."...'
The BBC:

Left-wing and right-wing news outlets...? I thought news was news and information holds no bias?!
Seriously, it's another indication of an established setting that has become concerned about alternative opinions via
the internet that counter their own.

And do you think that the final comment in the article of my last posting was a mere suggestion of things to come
or was it already set to go and the Editorial Departments independently decided to leave it until the Friday of this
week? No... news is only news to the reader when they read it. The reality of information control is far-different.

The BBC states the UK Government are wanting to help small 'local' newspapers because of dwindling sales and
on the heels of this declaration, Trinity says it's buying out major news outlets... coinicidence?
Maybe and perhaps one of the alternative mediums would agree and use the words 'Cabal, Deep State' and throw
Soros' name in for good measure!

There may be something to it as a large section of reported news is garnered from local newspapers, reports that
give the impression to a reader that the major one they're reading does have it's finger on the pulse of the country's
concerns.

In reality, emails, forums, global news websites and Editorial decision-making go a long way to give that impression
and it works, a preferred semi-localised butter-patted narrative from a Journalist is offered to a reader that enjoys
a story that alligns with their own belief-system.

Yes, there's ridiculous mediums out there that demand that the Earth is flat and Donald Trump is Satan. And yes, the
mainstream media offer us (hopefully!) tongue-in-cheek pages like this:

Quote:Time travel ‘PROOF’: ‘British government worker from 8973’ reveals terrifying secret.

A man claiming to be a government official has lifted the lid on a terrifying secret going
on in the world, he claims.

'Videos of people claiming to be time travellers on YouTube have gone viral, each with
different accounts of the future. And one man claims that they are all speaking the truth
about what they have seen.

William Taylor appeared on Apex TV to claim there are many secrets being hidden from
us. He said: “There are many advanced technologies being kept secret from you.

“There are plans to release these to the public eventually but as of now, they are highly
classified. “They are going to come after me for making this video, I am putting myself
at risk for telling you the truth.”

After claiming to have gone up the ranks in the British Intelligence Agency, Mr Taylor
claims he was given access to their time machine. As part of his first mission, he claims
he was transported to the year 3,000 in a lead sphere.

He added: “Time travel was first successfully accomplished in 1981.
“There is an infinite number of alternate universes, it is possible that everyone of these
universes exist and it is possible to move between these universes.

“We developed a machine to not only time travel, but move between these parallel
universes...'
The Daily Star:

But the question is, where is the agreement that a website cannot push it's agenda and a newspaper is seen as
approved to persuade readers of their preferred narrative? The time-travel account is seen as silly and that area
of discussion is stifled for two reasons for two reasons that the latter has a bearing in the world of debating 'Fake'
and 'Real' news.

The first one is that it reduces any account from an alleged 'Time-Traveller' down to a lunatic reporting his/her's
fantasy and this is deemed important enough to print the article. Secondly, it gives the impression that the particular
media is the Judge and decides that even though some may see it as a 'silly-season' article in the realms of the
Loch Ness Monster and Ufos, they can print it, but alternative news companies shouldn't.
Ergo, the non-Establishment mediums have no credibility if they do.

A UK major newspaper exclaimed for many weeks that World War III was already underway with North Korea as a
headline and yet, the Winter Olympics is seeing Korea -both North and South working towards acquiring medals.
Poor reporting or Fake News...? One presumes the reader can decide.

And once more, that's where the Establishment steps in. We're not talking about torrid websites that offer society
-offensive images and criminal text here, we're in the area of eroding nuance-based influence that may go against
the grain of a 'way'... an accepted position that suits those who have the power to promote their own orthodoxed
wares.

Alex Jones isn't the enemy of the Fourth-Estate, the bloated arcane methods of delivering unvarnished news is
the real problem for the Establishment. The only irony is that the growling Texan's opinions are the mirror-opposite
in the manner he delivers his stuff!
Jones does it for money and so does the mainstream media, let's not forget that.

If the sales of newspapers is falling -and it is, I believe they need to change with the times. That doesn't mean they
should whole-heartedly cater for the 'weirder'-side of interests and look for stories about ghosts and Trump-Goblins,
I mean they should learn the ways of those they're in competition with.

The mainstream media's forays into the world of the internet are now set, but in regards of their core-setting of
newspapers and television news, that 'stuffy' old-world perception remains. It's no good bitching about memes and
sarcastic, caustic delivery of information that's rife on the net, it's the way that the mainstream have to understand.

The scenario I often offer is a party, a shin-dig where a group of young people are stood around talking to each
other. In you come, with your 'normie' attire and conditioned view of the world. You know how all this craziness
really works and the way the political and business world turns is the way it's always been.

You're 'The Guy' who knows the back-end of what these youngsters are slowly shuffling towards and you want to
tell them. These people are developing their outlook on the world and bouncing ego-protected ideas off each other,
but you've arrived with their short-cut.
The reason of making money off the back of convincing them... well, that's for another day!

You -possibly being older and with the belief you're more confident, stride forth and ask 'what is goin' down'!
They'll listen to you for a while, whilst you attempt to enforce your own rules of discussion and your 'established'
opinions, but five minutes later, they'll move off.

In the media business -where advertising money is the only reason you remain afloat, you've just lost potential
across-the-board, general customers... and getting them back rarely happens.

In the case of mainstream media, some outlets decided to wander into the minority groups where you continue to
hide your need for income and offer platforms where they can shout their views on their particular brand of living.
The original group and fellow-Normies move further away and your product circulation falls even more, the shock
-tactic didn't work.
................................................

It's because the mainstream media don't get it, it's not a bubble they're in, it's a self-created class level.
The industry sees itself 'better' than the group it's trying to sell to and no change of outfit, no changing the angle of
approaching a subject and no amount of favouring a section of people will work.

If you wish to survive in a world where the reader/viewer decides what it chooses to purchase, you have to truly
be who you're not at this time and some of that means losing your class-attitude.

I hope this article fits here. If not, a MOD can move it to an appropriate thread.

Quote:Feb. 6, 2018 (EIRNS)—After Obama’s CIA chief John Brennan took a job as an NBC analyst this past weekend, the FBI’s former assistant to James Comey, Josh Campbell, issued a flashy resignation letter in the form of an op-ed in the New York Times on Feb. 2, then immediately announced he’d been hired as an analyst at CNN. The “revolving door” has taken on new meaning.

Glenn Greenwald, who released the Snowden documents, tweeted: “Isn’t it a little strange to constantly rail about ‘state TV’ when it comes to RT & Fox and then hire CIA Directors & General as your ‘news analysts’?”

Josh Campbell, a “former supervisory special agent with the FBI who served as a counterterrorism investigator and special assistant to the bureau’s director,” as the Times identifies him, in the op-ed, “Why I Am Leaving the FBI,” whines that he is

Quote:“leaving an organization I love. Why? So I can join the growing chorus of people who believe that the relentless attacks on the Bureau undermine not just America’s premier law enforcement agency but also the nation’s security.”

No hiding anything—he wants to join the “chorus” of treason against the President. And what better place to do it than at CNN and the New York Times?

Campbell writes that the Bureau is threatened by “Scorched-earth attacks from politicians with partisan goals, raising corrosive doubts about the integrity of the FBI that could last for generations.” Ironically, he claims that the Bureau can be trusted because it is

Quote:“subject to a robust system of checks and balances, including its internal affairs division, the Department of Justice inspector general, congressional committees and the courts. These watchdogs ensure that personal opinions regarding politics, causes and candidates do not affect investigations.”

And yet he is resigning precisely because of that oversight, from the Congress doing its job for a change, and catching the FBI in serious crimes.

As for the Nunes memo about the FISA applications, Campbell says it could not be true, since

Quote:“every statement of fact included in an affidavit for foreign intelligence collection must withstand the scrutiny of at least 10 people in the Department of Justice hierarchy before it is reviewed by an independent court.”
I.e., trust us.

Not surprisingly, James Comey immediately tweeted his support for Campbell’s threat to join the witchhunt: “Special Agent Josh Campbell will be missed at the FBI, but his voice is an important addition to the national conversation.”

The Daily Caller makes the case that Campbell was already essentially working for CNN, even if they were not paying him at the time, by serving as one of their illegal leakers at the Bureau. They write that

Quote:“Campbell’s decision to defend the FBI and all-but-attack President Donald Trump directly on a cable news network does not seem consistent with an individual who is worried about the politicization of the nation’s institutions.”

RT observed the fact that it was Brennan who lied to NBC News anchor Andrea Mitchell about the CIA spying on the Senate Intelligence Committee investigation into the agency’s use of torture, which, they say, “was apparently no deterrent to his appointment” by NBC.
It would be Nice and Thrilling to see the US Marshals  come on NBC and take John Brennan off the air in Handcuffs  tinylaughing

It has always astounded me that everybody seems to accept the outright prejudice that the same media
outlets show. It's obvious from the anti-Trump bias that many of CNN's sources are from such agencies
and in peril -to use a fair term, of being given information to suit a narrative.
Especially, if there's an preferred agenda from such agencies.

I'm not 'in-the-know' as much as Mr. Guohua about such matters and as he indicated in another thread,
these security departments can become disenchanted for various reasons and that doesn't bode well for
a supposedly neutral media company.

The seemingly natural move from the CIA to a television news company turns the whole situation of
ethical reporting into a reality TV show! The major outlets' websites are a mockery in their manner of
keeping up with current events and even give the politically-correct news sites on this side of the
Atlantic a run-for-their-money in the art of banality!

A Presenter is supposed to present untainted news, not discuss their opinions with a fellow journalist
or ex-FBI/CIA/White House employees! The 'bubbled' outcome is obvious and can lead to embittered
parties looking elsewhere for their information.
Places that may or may not adhere to the supposed principles that the mainstream media are believed
to hold dear.

Today'a media on the television has become enjoyable only because it can't be taken seriously and that,
is a terrible indictment. The newspapers are not far-behind them with their 'Thought-Police' mentality.

For myself, it's this from the Viz page!

Wanna see some more biased narrative...? Would you be interested to see how this craze of pushing diversity always
ends-up eating itself due to it's own internal rage?

If we begin with the rational notion that the BBC webpage below is available across the globe -because that's how the
internet works...! -then we have to accept that everyone who lives in that world also knows what 'Center Parcs' is and
who 'Richard Littlejohn' is.

But I think we can assume that the whole world doesn't know who the journalist with right-wing views is and maybe...
maybe many of the population of this planet are unaware that Center Parcs is a Dutch holiday company that provides
village-like facilities in supposed peaceful settings around Europe.

The gist of the tale is that Richard Littlejohn wrote a piece for The Daily Mail commenting that ideal parents -in his view,
should comprise of a male and a female. In the usual emotion-provoking manner that most medias, mainstream and
alternative adhere to these days, the title of his commentary was: 'Please don't pretend two dads is the new normal'

Littlejohn's response was from an article where two gay men announced they were 'going to have a baby' after they
were married nine-months ago. As you may be aware, males cannot at this time produce an offspring without the need
of a womb. Viable wombs tend to... no I apologise, are scientifically-proven to operate better inside the body of a female.

A narrative could be made by feminists to say how vital a woman is to such a natural institution of humans, but this would
possibly butt-hurt the gay community's requirements to keep their 'we-have-marriage-rights-too' narrative maintained.

Littlejohn does parry any possible alternative views with suggesting that the lack of information regarding the surrogate
female -who is to be the natural mother of the child and only a bit-player in this episode, resides in the USA.

Quote:'...it is still illegal in Britain to pay surrogate mothers other than modest expenses...'
The Daily Mail:

And he is correct. The obvious lack of this type of lateral information in the BBC, British newspapers and social media outlets
suggests either poor journalism or a biased narrative to favour social diversity for whatever means.

But back to Saturday's BBC article.
Due to the outrage from one person alligning his opinion-piece with whatever advertising was residing on the same page,
an tweet was fired towards the Center Parcs company that suggested the entire business was supporting homophobia!
With the holiday group following the current political-correctness, Center Parcs pulled their advertising to staunch any bad
publicity that could be conjoured-up by using words.

In itself, it's just another case of social justice stamping it's feet by taking an opposing view of something they disliked.
But since vultures fare better after prey has been tackled and dispatched, the BBC's 'Diversity-Squad' decided to push
their own virtues and give away their illiberality by omitting pertinent information to a potential reader.

It's either written with an emotion that was strong enough to cause the unknown BBC writer to override his/her ethical
disciplines of full disclosure or it's just another example of languorous journalism that's playing on the 'feel-good' ethos
of the avant-garde.
Or just like the vultures I mentioned earlier, picking-over the corpse of second-hand click-bait.

All-in-all, it could be implied that a reader from another part of the world -or outside of the BBC's diversity department,
wouldn't know that actually, these two men were merely obtaining a child, not 'having' one in the assumed natural way
of a male and female relationship through bonding. Maybe in Wakanda, but not here!

Quote:Center Parcs pulls Daily Mail ads over Tom Daley article.

'It took the decision after its advert appeared in an online article by columnist Richard Littlejohn that criticised diver
Tom Daley and his husband Dustin Lance Black, who are expecting a child.
Littlejohn claimed children "benefit most from being raised by a man and a woman".

Center Parcs said the placement of the advert was "completely unacceptable".
It was responding to a complaint from a person who tweeted: "My son so wants me to book at your parks, but how can
I do that if you support homophobia?"

Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black.

The holiday resort firm responded to the tweet: "We take where we advertise very seriously and have a number of steps
to prevent our advertising from appearing alongside inappropriate content.
"We felt this placement was completely unacceptable and therefore ceased advertising with the Daily Mail with immediate
effect. "We apologise for any offence this may have caused."

In his article, Littlejohn said he supported civil partnerships, and would prefer a child to be fostered by "loving gay couples"
rather than be "condemned to rot" in state-run institutions.
He added: "That said, and despite the fact that countless single parents do a fantastic job, I still cling to the belief that children
benefit most from being brought up by a man and a woman."

London's Southbank Centre earlier announced it would no longer be advertising in the newspaper because of Littlejohn's article.

The move comes after the pressure group Stop Funding Hate posted a tweet naming the brands who advertised in the paper.
A campaign by the same group in November 2017 led stationery chain Paperchase to stop running promotions in the Daily Mail,
as did Lego in 2016.

Virgin Trains also announced it would stop selling the Daily Mail on its West Coast services.
However, it reversed the decision days later.
Virgin Group boss Sir Richard Branson said he instructed the firm to restock the paper while a review takes place.
In response, the Daily Mail said it welcomed the "support for freedom of speech"...'
The BBC:

P.S Just out of curiosity, I wonder if the tweeting mother of the outraged son flipped on her decision to
boycott Center Parcs and booked a stay in one of their facilities?!

I Personally believe a child should be raised by a man and a woman. This way as they get older they have experience the Biological Differences of a Male and Female.
Why is Mom Bitchy and Irritable and So Very Moody 5 days or so a Month?
Why does Dad Like to associate with his Male Friends and Hunt/Fish and Work on the Family Car and Run into the House as soon as he hears the Wife Call For Him and Apologize for Not Being there Soon Enough!

But that is Old Fashion and now the Powers To Be have used the MSM to Push for Total Acceptance of Non Traditional Families.
They want you to believe that these couples are More Loving and Caring that your average Wife and Husband.

Sad
I think for most of the time, mainstream media 'use' minority stories in order to annoy
readers. The sad part is that people like these two young men are only too-happy to
entertain these types of scribblers and have their privacy splashed across the pages.

I also believe that in an ideal world, a mother and father are the standard model for a
well-balanced family environment. It provides a confident bedrock for a child to delevop
into someone that can contribute to our society and further their own spiritual well-being.

However, that means such beliefs upset those who have progressive ideas and have
gathered better wisdom by being on this planet for around five minutes. The behavior
that acquires attention -these days, isn't to take part in bettering our species as a whole,
but to strut like a peacock and indicate low morals are the way to go.

Oh... and to act like spoilt children at every turn.

Earlier in the week, the uncontrolable laughter and ardent applause that followed Joy Behar's comment on the
Vice-President's claim of divine assistance, was surely a sign to those who watch such shyte entertainment,
that Christianity is something the mainstream media have happily attached to right-wing politics.

Let's face it, those who hate Donald Trump have a perception that those who voted him into office are white-skinned,
mullet-haired, trailer-dwellers who believes Jesus' face looks good as a tattoo.

But with the media playing their games to maintain their narrative that Adolf Trump and his tiki-torch-carrying minions
are the terrible enemy of Hollywood the nation, it seems that there may have been some confusion in the private Journalist
internet forums and Editorial departments lately -when taking the piss out of a deity.

Quote:Joy Behar slammed for ‘View’ attack on Mike Pence’s Christian faith.

'...ABC is facing mounting criticism after its panelists on “The View” mocked Vice President Mike Pence’s Christian faith.
Detractors of “The View” are focusing on the fact that ABC News, which claims to be an unbiased broadcast news operation,
oversees such a nakedly partisan program with one “token” conservative.

The women of “The View” took a shot at Pence’s Christian faith on Tuesday, mocking the former governor of Indiana for
talking to Jesus and even calling it a “mental illness.”

Sunny Hostin said it’s “interesting” that former White House staffer Omarosa Manigault Newman recently said that Pence
talks to Jesus and believes Jesus tells him things. Hostin said she is a “faithful” Catholic but doesn’t want her vice president
“speaking in tongues.” Joy Behar then said, “It’s one thing to talk to Jesus. It’s another thing when Jesus talks to you…
that’s called mental illness.”...
FOX News

The New York 'comedienne' has a point in raising doubts of Godly advice being used in such a distinguished position.
Can a leader or a person who claims high-moral standards, be open to the wisdom of somone they cannot see?
Science and Behar would prepare the bonfire and ready themselves for a burning -no doubt with the thunderous
applause from 'The View' studio drowning out Mike Pence's muttered prayers.

However, such a damning proclamation that a prophet with holes in his hands can speak to silly buggers like priests,
popes and politicians, we may have to ask CNN if they've added fuel to the fire.

Here, a young teacher befriends a disruptive kid at her school and eventually adopts him and his brother.
A feel-good story, yes... but what persuaded this educator to take on such a burden?

Quote:A rowdy boy almost made her quit teaching. Then he became her son.

'...By 2015, Haley was finishing her two-year Teach For America obligation, but she felt something pulling her back
as though her work wasn't quite done. The school principal suggested Haley stick around "for Jerome."
She did, signing on for a third year as a special education teacher.

One night that October, Haley felt as though God came to her in a dream, telling her she was destined to be Jerome's
mother. She laughed out loud, thinking the idea was preposterous, and went back to sleep.
But the next day at school, the teacher was overcome with a profound, peaceful feeling while Jerome sat alone with her
taking a test. "He just asked me if he could live with me," Haley recalled. "I told him I had been feeling the same thing."...'
CNN:

Oh dear, the Vice-President and a teacher of children are poorly interpreting mental illness issues and believing it's
the Rizz or his Daddy telling them to give a rat's-ass about people around them! How so-very anti-Hollywood.

Maybe there'll be a Fight-Night Special where Joy Behar -packed into a leotard and dazzling us with her winning smile,
will go up against CNN's sinewy-Anderson Cooper in a well-lit roped-ring to iron-out this narrative wrinkle.

Does supercilious, condescending Hollywood believe in the possibility of guidance from providence or is all just hoo-haa
for the sake of The Little House On The Prairie re-runs? Remember, little Jerome and his brother's futures and North Korea
await such a sagacious answer. Just don't look to the heavens of inspiration, Joy!

Christ... imagine if Pence had said Allah had whispered to him...! What would Behar have said then...?
Imagine if Chelsea Haley had heard the easy-drawl of Obama in her dreams, prompting her to take care of the boys.
What would CNN reported then and how would our favourite caustic Catholic comic have countered it?

We'll find out when Don King gets his finger out and gets the fight on.

they begin to see the mechanism in the background that manufactured the narrative, that same once-trusted
apparatus begins to eat itself.

Maybe one day, we'll see the real ogre that is mainstream media.

Quote:Newsweek plunged into chaos by its own reporters' exposé.

'Newsweek, once one of the most powerful publications in US media, has a scoop on its hands
–one that has plunged the troubled title further into chaos.

On Tuesday the magazine published an exposé of its owner’s ties to a small evangelical Christian
school, , founded by the  David Jang.

Staff were fired and several editors threatened to resign as management tried to interfere in the
publication of the story.
The story –entitled –details links between Newsweek Media Group and Olivet University’s efforts
to develop a campus in upstate New York.

The Manhattan district attorney’s office raided the downtown newsroom of Newsweek in January,
taking 18 computer servers. Its investigations have been reported to be into ties between Olivet
and Newsweek Media Group, formerly known as IBT Media.

Jonathan Davis, co-founder of Newsweek Media Group, is the husband of Tracy Davis, president
of Olivet University. After the raid Olivet denied “shared ownership interests” with Newsweek but
acknowledged “payment for a licensing and R&D arrangement”.

According to the Newsweek report, tax records show Newsweek Media Group paid Olivet millions
of dollars for licensing and research and development agreements. Olivet also offered New York
county officials free advertising in Newsweek, according to the report, as it sought permits and tax
breaks for its new campus. In 2017 Newsweek ran 10 full-page ads –valued at about $149,000
(£106,000) – promoting local services, all free of charge.

“At the same time as Newsweek Media Group was giving away $150k in free advertising as part
of negotiations to secure property for Olivet University, I watched reporters in tears as they laid off
two-thirds of the people in the newsroom,” Newsweek’s associate politics editor, Jason Le Miere,
on Tuesday night.

The story was accompanied by an extraordinary editors’ note describing turmoil at the magazine
and “egregious breaches of confidentiality and journalism ethics”.

“As we were reporting this story, Newsweek Media Group fired Newsweek editor Bob Roe,
executive editor Ken Li and senior politics reporter Celeste Katz for doing their jobs,” it read.

“As we continued working on the story, we were asked to take part in a review process which,
we ultimately learned, involved egregious breaches of confidentiality and journalism ethics.”

The editors claimed “subjects of the story were shown parts of the draft, if not the entire piece,
prior to publication by a company executive who should not have been involved in the process”.

The Daily Beast, which used to be owned by the same company as Newsweek, reported that
the story had been in the works for weeks and had encountered “significant headwinds” from
management.

The editors and reporters involved in the Olivet piece said they resisted efforts of management
to influence the story and “felt they would be forced to resign”.
However, a senior Newsweek Media Group executive then promised that the company’s owners
would ensure editorial independence in the future.

Eventually the story was published, but not without another note at the bottom reading:
“Celeste Katz contributed reporting to this article before she was fired.”

Newsweek Media Group, which bought the 85-year-old publication in 2013, did not immediately
return a request for comment...'

Once A Rogue, Always A Rogue!
Here's an example of why many believe the mainstream media don't really know what's going on and just fire-up
exploitive headlines for the need of ratings and viewership.

In the UK, the current weather conditions are poor and it's a grand excuse for the media to do little-more than
post images of marooned vehicles and kids sledging down embankments. The articles talk of dismay and
death in a time when it seems these types of snowstorms have never occurred in the British Isles, yet in reality,
winter has delivered them before.

A time for pulling on your galoshes and getting out to help those struggling -some might say. But that sort of
rhetoric doesn't assist television ratings and advertising revenue.
No, it's better to scare the public with tales of heating supplies shortages and suggestions that the world is
coming to an end.

But wait a moment! If the snow-bound country is now at the mercy of Gas-suppliers and for the sake of money,
-And wish to deprive the vulnerable voters, then what does this say about sovereign independence in a crisis?

Are we to look to businesses of this commodity and seek their mercy...? Or do we turn our shivering gaze to
those we elect to allegedly care for our every need?

Ratings via shock... or control of the public via the MSM...? oh, the deliberation.
Government sources for leaked information may dry up because of callous fear-mongering, but a frightening
headline sells papers. What is an Editor to do?

Aw screw it.

Mother-Of God, what the...?! Quick, get onto the Government-funded broadcasting company and get the message out!
Tell the hacks down at the BBC to release this: WE'RE IN COMMAND HERE... NOT THE EUROPEAN UTILITY SUPPLIERS.
Jeez... the public will think Merkel and her gang are running the show!

Now... where's that telephone number for the fracking companies?

Quote:UK gas supply warning ceases as cold snap continues.

'National Grid's first "gas deficit warning" for eight years has been withdrawn after supplies increased.
The network operator issued the warning on Thursday, saying it might not have enough gas to meet demand due to
the current cold snap gripping the UK.
The warning was a call to the market to boost supplies.

National Grid said it did not anticipate having to issue a new warning on Friday, but would do if supplies dropped off
again.

A National Grid spokesperson said: "The market has continued to respond over the last 24 hours and we have
seen an increase of supplies into the network.
"As the extremely cold weather continues we expect to see high demand on the gas network, so we are continuing
to monitor developments closely.

"Protecting customer supplies is always our first priority and we would like to reassure them that this high demand
has not affected their domestic gas supplies".

Blizzards
The sub-zero temperatures and snowy conditions in the UK have caused a spike in demand for gas from consumers
and businesses. National Grid has seen its highest demand for gas for six years in the past week.

That increase in demand was coupled with unplanned outages to supplies coming from Norway, the Netherlands,
and Belgium, leading to the National Grid warning.
Suppliers responded to Thursday's warning by pumping more gas into the system, and some large businesses
agreed with their energy suppliers to use less gas.

National Grid can ask large businesses to scale back gas usage, but in this case, reductions in gas use by industry
were done through commercial contracts with suppliers. Supplies to domestic consumers were not affected.

In recent years the UK has become more reliant on gas imports. Gas-fired power stations are taking up the slack
as coal-fired power stations are decommissioned.
In addition, a large North Sea gas storage facility called Rough is in the process of being closed down due to safety
concerns...'
BBC:

So if we toss away the drama, it seems a scary headline from the day before is replaced with a calming,
'everthing-is-under-control' leader the next day.
The MSM don't really know what's going on, do they?!

Quote:Weinstein Company deal falls through after more debt found.

'A group of investors led by a former Obama aide uncovered more debt in the company
-which says it could now file for bankruptcy...'

Ah yes, the Obama media situation. A Democrat-biased network aimed at convincing the US public
that their way is the better way and what better way can there be than purchasing a media company
that's embroiled in a sex scandal.

Quote:'...A last-minute deal to buy The Weinstein Company has collapsed after more debt was uncovered by
investors. The consortium led by Maria Contreras-Sweet, a former senior official in Barack Obama's
administration, announced it would no longer buy the studio's assets.

Ms Contreras-Sweet and her investment partner, US billionaire Ron Burkle, said they were "disappointed"
after discovering tens of millions of dollars of additional liabilities on top of the $225m that were prepared
to take on.

Maria Contreras-Sweet.

"All of us have worked in earnest on the transaction to purchase the assets of The Weinstein Company,"
they said. "However, after signing and entering into the confirmatory diligence phase, we have received
disappointing information about the viability of completing this transaction.

"As a result, we have decided to terminate this transaction."

The studio had said before it was considering filing for bankruptcy, and has reinforced it will now pursue such
"orderly process" if no other viable options arise. Pressure for the deal to be closed has been enforced by the
Attorney General's office, which said it would be "disappointed if the parties cannot work out their differences".

This comes in the backdrop of the fall of Harvey Weinstein, co-founder of TWC and one of the biggest film
producers in Hollywood history. He was accused by dozens of women of a wide range of sexual misconduct and
sexual abuse accusations, all of which he denies.

Weinstein is being investigated by authorities in both the US and the UK.

Ms Contreras-Sweet left open the possibility that she could still forge a new company from the ashes, saying she
believes "our vision to create a women-led film studio is still the correct course of action".
The Mexican-born business woman has previously stated her intention is to have a majority female board, save job
and create a victims' compensation fund.

Now that the deal seems to have collapsed, TWC has said it was an "excuse" by investors to back out from the deal,
and the company "has always been transparent about its dire financial condition"...'

'Create a victims' compensation fund'...? Why? What the hell was this hoped-for new media company planning to do?!!!
