Huxley Vs Orwell
#1
A short infographic on the main themes in each of the major works of these authors, and how they viewed things differently.

Which one was right, or were they both?

It would appear that each was right, in his own way. the Controllers appear to be fond of a "carrot and stick" approach to control. Huxley was fixated on the carrot aspect so thoroughly he neglected to mention the stick aspect, and Orwell was fixated in the exact opposite direction. While each had his own focus, nothing in those two apparently opposed focii actually negates the potential of the other.

Indeed, they appear to work in a symbiotic relationship.

Diogenes was eating bread and lentils for supper. He was seen by the philosopher Aristippus, who lived comfortably by flattering the king.

Said Aristippus, ‘If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.’ Said Diogenes, ‘Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.’

I agree with Ninurta.
Just think if we'd had 4 more years of an Obama like Administration. That would have been the Total Destruction of America and what's left of our Freedom to Choice!
