Banners Like There's No Tomorrow!
We missed Thursday's input of artwork after Boy In A Dress and myself spent the
day and early evening high up on a ladder giving a hedge of ivy, paternoster and
some other strange types of foliage, a much-needed pruning.

Up there, where the birds dare to approach nearer than on the ground, BIAD spoke
some more of his past and how time isn't what he assumed I believed it was.

He agreed to two things whilst balanced on the flat surface of the hedge that was
supported by a brick wall underneath, a wall I haven't seen the top of for over thirty
years.

He ceded that I could write what he told me about travelling to other ages and he also
agreed to tuck his dress between his thighs when descending the ladder.
I'm unsure which will disturb my sleep the most tonight.

Anyway, here's banners.

Another gorgeous day for a royal wedding and for Boy In A Dress to take it
easy after an hectic week. Of course, if BIAD had received an invite to Harry
and Meghan's tying-off-the-knot, I'm sure he'd have been there... front row
at the church singing whole-heartedly.

Instead, he sat in the garden and watched the ceremony on the TV set we
wheeled into the conservatory. He sat on a recliner outside and viewed it
through the window.

With his jaunty Union-Jack hat and little flag, he looked like a real-life peasant
of the monarchy.

I caught Boy In A Dress dancing in a corn circle in the early hours of this morning.
I'm sure BIAD hadn't made it and I'm almost certain it wasn't there when I looked
out of the window last night.

I confronted the cavorting fool and asked him what on earth he was up to and
his reply caught me off-guard.

As the sun crept over the horizon, the Man-Girl said between pants "It's her...
she asked me to dance" and with hands on hips, caught his breath.
A long-nailed finger pointed towards the edge of the thigh-high corn and following
the scarlet digit, I looked for who dared to ask Boy In A Dress to waltz in the cereal.

Maybe if I wasn't so practical, I may have seen something, but apart from a wisp
of early-morning mist, the field only held the pair of us. I scanned the whole area
and ignoring the noisy crow looking for an early breakfast, there was nothing except
the strange design.

Strangely enough, later that day my brother-in-law farmer cut the corn and BIAD's
dance-floor was no more.

A sunny weekday morning and a suggestion that the Missus, myself and Boy In A Dress
should visit the coast, it was a grand mixture.

BIAD waded in the sea and after failing to catch a mocking Oyster Catcher, he turned and
showed passing beach walkers the effects cold water has on male genitalia.
If there was ever a reason to through stones at him, it was then.

We had a good day and ignoring the Man-Girl's snoring in the car on the way way home,
my better-half and I quietly discussed what we would've done if BIAD had drifted out to sea.
My wife whispered that we would finally have somewhere to store the bicycle.

It was 'double-bubble' time for Boy In A Dress and myself when we visited one of the
best castles in Great Britain. Alnwick Castle is lavishly decorated and was used in the
Harry Potter movies.

There was even a couple of young folk willing to train anyone who wished to fly on
a broom! I managed to talk BIAD out of jamming the Witch's vehicle between his legs
as I've seen him levitate and the view can unsettle the elderly.

Anyway, my wife, the Man-Girl and me had a fine time and his embarrassing antics
were kept to a minimum.

Here's his banners.

It was an easy Wednesday today, Boy In A Dress did his thing around the mother-in-law's
house whilst I stocked-up the fish-pond we're looking after with the substance that BIAD
assured me was important. Namely water.

Hot days and evaporation... not -as the Man-Girl told me as he left for his gardening work,
a thirsty underground dragon. Mind you, BIAD's explanation sounds better.

Here's his Facebook art.

An overcast day and not much done.
Boy In A Dress assisted me with feeding the coy carp we're baby-sitting and
only ducked his head into the pond once.

He's getting worse because he said that someone at the bottom waved at him.

"Was that summer I saw for a couple of days?" Boy In A Dress asked me as he
rushed into my conservatory to avoid the raindrops on this miserable Friday.

The garden needed a drink and accepting BIAD's artwork from him, I replied
that at least it would quench the plants' thirst. "But my legs are wet" he parried
and focusing on the downpour behind him, I simply nodded.

"Days like these are when an open fire is a grand idea" the Man-Girl grumbled to
himself and I knew what he meant... I'd seen him utilise one before.
It involved pulling his hem high and letting the heat of the flames dry the lower
-half of his body.

It works, but the custodian of the castle where the large hearth was situated
certainly didn't approve. However, the tourists we were with did enjoy the display,
along with the suits of armour and some super paintings.

Saturday was a lot better than the day before and the reappearance of the sun
may have had something to do with Boy In A Dress' complaining.

We were diligent in our coy-carp care for the last time and the Man-Girl went and
helped my better-half with her shopping. With what my wife explained about BIAD
scaring a shop-assistant by revealing a certain part of his anatomy and asking her
to scan it, I dare say the retail-therapy is also his final time.

He's out at his Disco and I'm certain he's out to lunch too.

It's a Bank Holiday Monday in the UK and for Boy In A Dress, it meant that
I cut the grass instead of him. BIAD accepted his day-off with a nonchalant
wander around to Mrs. Miggins house on the off-chance Big Babs is visiting
her mother.

Well, I'm guessing that's why.

Here his the lazy sod's Facebook art.

Boy In A Dress nodded and offered a big sh*t-eating grin when I told him of
your comment and I noticed there was a slight spring in his step when he
returned to his shed.

The grey sky looked down on the pair of us looking through our respective
windows at each other and shrugging about not knowing what to do.

So here's his banners.

With it being a Wednesday, Boy In A Dress fell into his schedule and went to weed
the mother-in-law's gardens.

BIAD likes the chocolate biscuits, sweet coffee and presumably tilled soiled when he's
there and I'm sure the bare-assed display the Man-Girl offers in return when bending
to pull the weeds, the mum-in-law perceives as a fair trade.

Another Thursday under 'muggy' weather. I caught Boy In A Dress swinging his
stuff to try and grasp a cool draught.

Oh, I mean BIAD was wafting the remains of his kite in order to cool himself.
I'll be quiet and post his banners.

Up the ladder again and the pruning in the garden continues.
Boy In A Dress mentioned it was hotter up there because we were nearer
the sun and I have to commend myself for not pushing him off the rungs.

What I did find odd and I hadn't noticed before is that when BIAD sweats,
he smells of toffee-apple. Weird, nuh?!

I was surprised when Boy In A Dress told me he was taking  Saturday night off due
to his Discotheque venue being redecorated. Personally, I was hoping they were
tearing it down.

So BIAD spent the day in the garden utilising the occasional shower of rain to bathe in
and he's now -as the evening approaches, he's sat on his shed stoop with a gin-and-tonic
he scrounged off me in his hand and a smile on his face.

La-dee-da, indeed.

Boy In A Dress had a day-off yesterday and so, pushed himself to get a queue going
with his artwork. Sometimes, his work is done on the same day it's posted and I think
it leaves him a little flushed.

Which may explain his occasional toilet-humour!
