2020, The Dems
#21
Oh er... this is kinda-awkward.
tinylaughing

Quote:Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez 'accepted a $2,700 donation from 2020 presidential hopeful
and BILLIONAIRE Tom Steyer' despite slamming Mayor Pete for his high-dollar fundraisers.

*Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez reportedly accepted $2,700 from Tom Steyer in 2018

*The billionaire and presidential hopeful sent donation to her campaign last year

*Ocasio-Cortez has been critical about Democrats being funded by billionaires

*Revelation comes just days after she and presidential candidate Bernie Sanders
called out Mayor Pete Buttigeig for holding a fancy fundraisers with rich donors

*Buttigieg, who is also a 2020 presidential hopeful, held a fundraiser in Napa Valley
that cost $900 to attend on December 15

*The mayor was also slammed by Sen Elizabeth Warren, another Democratic presidential
candidate, over his fundraising efforts during last week's debate

'Billionaires in wine caves should not pick the next president of the US,' she said

*But Buttigieg called out Warren for being a millionaire herself, saying: 'This is important.
This is the problem with issuing purity tests you cannot yourself pass'

*Sanders remarked to his supporters: 'We don't go to rich people's wine caves!'

*Ocasio-Cortez took the opportunity to use Buttigieg's words against him, saying:
'For anyone who accuses us for instituting purity tests... it’s called having values'

'Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez railed against fellow Democrats accepting money from wealthy donors at a
rally in Los Angeles on Saturday, defending political 'purity tests,' saying: 'It’s called having standards
for your conduct to not be funded by billionaires but to be funded by the people.'

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and billionaire, Tom Steyer (right).

What AOC failed to mention that she once accepted a donation from 2020 presidential hopeful and
billionaire, Tom Steyer.
According to OpenSecrets.org, Steyer, who has donated to numerous PACs and Democratic candidates,
sent a donation in the amount of $2,700 to the 30-year-old's campaign on August 29, 2018.

The revelation comes just days after she and presidential candidate Bernie Sanders called out Mayor Pete
Buttigeig for holding a fundraisers with rich donors. Speaking at a Venice Beach rally, AOC told liberals not
to compromise: 'For anyone who accuses us for instituting purity tests — it’s called having values.

It’s called giving a damn. It’s called having standards for your conduct to not be funded by billionaires but
to be funded by the people.' Buttigieg, who is also a 2020 presidential hopeful, held a fundraiser in Napa
Valley that cost $900 to attend.

Sanders, who has been endorsed by Ocasio-Cortez, told a crowd of thousands gathered between the Venice
Beach boardwalk and the Pacific Ocean, 'We don't go to rich people's wine caves.'

Buttigieg was also slammed by Sen Elizabeth Warren, another Democratic presidential candidate, over his
fundraising efforts during last week's debate.  'The mayor just recently had a fundraiser that was held in a wine
cave full of crystals and served $900-a-bottle wine -think about who comes to that,' Warren stated, referencing
the Napa Valley fundraiser held on December 15.

'We made the decision many years ago that rich people in smoke-filled rooms would not pick the next president
of the United States. Billionaires in wine caves should not pick the next president of the United States,' Warren
argued.

Mayor Pete Buttigeig, Sen Elizabeth Warren and the wine cave used for Buttigieg fundraiser.

The mayor then responded by pointing out that Warren is a multi-millionaire.
'According to Forbes magazine, I am literally the only person on this stage who is not a millionaire or a billionaire,'
he said. 'This is important — this is the problem with issuing purity tests you cannot yourself pass.'

During Sanders' rally, Ocasio-Cortez took the opportunity to use Buttigieg's words against him, saying: 'For anyone
who accuses us for instituting purity tests... it’s called having values.'

'Let me tell you something,' the freshman Democratic congresswoman from New York went on.
'I go to work all the time and I hear people say, "what will my donors think?" I hear that phrase.
And I hear and I see that billionaires get members of Congress on speed dial and waitresses don't.'
Ocasio-Cortez worked as a bartender before being elected to Congress last year.

Sanders and fellow progressive Sen. Elizabeth Warren have sworn off getting help from Super PACs.
They have raised campaign cash using small dollar donations. Buttigieg has participated in glitzy closed-door
fundraisers, though has released the names of most of his bundlers. Transparency, though, hasn't been enough
for him to avoid attacks from the Sanders-Warren wing.

Ocasio-Cortez's dig came after she had gone after Congress for passing President Trump's bloated defense budget.
Trump signed it into law Friday at Joint Base Andrews before leaving to spend the holidays at Mar-a-Lago.
The bill includes Trump's new Space Force.

Ocasio-Cortez said she was asked 'not once' whose taxes would go up to pay for President Trump's $738billion
defense budget. 'This is not just some kind of campaign line,' she said. 'We only talk about raising taxes when it
comes to taking care of our kids and saving our planet and establishing healthcare - it is the ultimate hypocrisy,'
Ocasio-Cortez told the crowd.

With California Sen Kamala Harris out of the presidential race, Sanders is currently leading the pack to pick up the
delegate-rich state. A Change Research poll conducted for KQED earlier this month found that 26 per cent of
Californians supported Sanders, followed by Sen Elizabeth Warren at 23 per cent and former Vice President
Joe Biden at 19 per cent.
Buttigieg is next with 12 per cent and Andrew Yang clocks in at 4 per cent.

In the last cycle, California was Sanders' last hope to beat Hillary Clinton, as the state's primary was in June, at the
very end of the cycle. This year Californians will vote much sooner, as the state's primary is scheduled for March 3
- what in politics is dubbed 'Super Tuesday' - as voters from 14 states and American Somoa will head to the polls
or caucus sites.

Ocasio-Cortez announced that she still felt the Bern on October 15, the night Sanders debated his Democratic rivals
in Ohio - his first event after recovering from a heart attack. She had supported his 2016 campaign.
She made her endorsement official at a rally in their native New York City.
The congresswoman has campaigned alongside Sanders in Iowa as well.

Besides Ocasio-Cortez, Sanders has attracted the endorsements of two other members of the so-called 'squad'
- Reps Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib. They've made campaign appearances with Sanders in their home states
of Minnesota and Michigan...'

Quote:WASHINGTON — Hillary Clinton tried. So did 16 rival Republicans. And after hundreds of millions of dollars were spent on ads attacking Donald Trump in 2016, the results were the same: They never did much damage.

Now Michael R. Bloomberg is trying — his way — spending millions each week in an online advertising onslaught that is guided by polling and data that he and his advisers believe provide unique insight into the president’s vulnerabilities.

The effort, which is targeting seven battleground states where polls show Mr. Trump is likely to be competitive in November, is just one piece of an advertising campaign that is unrivaled in scope and scale. On Facebook and Google alone, where Mr. Bloomberg is most focused on attacking the president, he has spent $18 million on ads over the last month, according to Acronym, a digital messaging firm that works with Democrats.

That is on top of the $128 million the Bloomberg campaign has spent on television ads, according to Advertising Analytics, an independent firm, which projects that Mr. Bloomberg is likely to spend a combined $300 million to $400 million on advertising across all media before the Super Tuesday primaries in early March.

The Bloomberg campaign hopes to sway the opinion of voters who haven't decided yet who to vote for in 2020. The ads’ target Trump's conduct and character.

Quote:Mr. Bloomberg’s aides believe it is imperative to flood voters with attacks on the president before it is too late — a lesson Republicans learned in 2016 when they initially spent most of their ad budgets during the primaries tearing into each other while ignoring Mr. Trump.

Skipping ahead...

Quote:Mr. Bloomberg’s aides say their data generally shows that these people tend to express disappointment about promises Mr. Trump has failed to keep on issues like rebuilding the nation’s infrastructure — an especially potent concern in places like Michigan. In most states, they are upset with the president’s push to repeal the Affordable Care Act without putting forward a Republican alternative, which voters view as jeopardizing their health coverage. They view his response to several mass shootings during his term as lacking urgency and seriousness, particularly in the suburbs around Detroit and Philadelphia, the Bloomberg data shows.

Well, if people paid attention, they would know that President Trump has been trying ever since he took office to get the DemocRats to come sit down and discuss the infrastructure. He also has a great healthcare plan ready. All he needs is some time spent from the other side, but it seems all they have time for is trying to cancel the vote of millions of Americans with all these impeachment lies! They won't work with him because they don't want him to have another "win" on his score card.

Cory Booker is dropping out of the race.  Wonder if it has anything to do with his connections to the Jessie Smollett case that's being reopened?

Quote:Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., announced Monday he is dropping out of the Democratic presidential race.
With his departure, former Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick is now the only black candidate remaining in the 12-candidate Democratic primary.

"Nearly one year ago, I got in the race for president because I believed to my core that the answer to the common pain Americans are feeling right now, the answer to Donald Trump’s hatred and division, is to reignite our spirit of common purpose to take on our biggest challenges and build a more just and fair country for everyone," he said in an email to supporters obtained by NBC News. "I’ve always believed that. I still believe that. I’m proud I never compromised my faith in these principles during this campaign to score political points or tear down others."

"And maybe I’m stubborn, but I’ll never abandon my faith in what we can accomplish when we join together," he continued. "I will carry this fight forward — I just won’t be doing it as a candidate for president this year. Friend, it’s with a full heart that I share this news — I’ve made the decision to suspend my campaign for president."

Booker held a staff call at his campaign headquarters in Newark before making his announcement public, a campaign official told NBC News.

I've done my part. I shared this same graphic on all my social media yesterday. Everyone else needs to do the same.

The uneducated, or uninformed, younger people don't take the time to research what Socialism actually is. All they know is if it's free, it's what they want because they're too lazy to work.

Socialism MUST NOT be allowed to destroy to the U.S.

Pennsylvania admits that 11,000 non-citizens are registered to vote. This is just one state. Imagine how many are in CA, FL, VA, OR, and other democrat controlled towns?   tinybighuh

We need voter ID, and we need it NOW!

Quote:A top Pennsylvania lawmaker called on the state Wednesday to immediately expunge the names of 11,198 noncitizens whom the state confirmed are registered to vote, despite not being eligible.

State Rep. Daryl Metcalfe, a Republican and former chairman of a House government oversight panel, said the administration of Gov. Tom Wolf, a Democrat, belatedly acknowledged the large number of noncitizens in communications over the past two months.

“I believe that we need to take action and have those people removed immediately from the rolls,” Mr. Metcalfe told The Washington Times. “They were never eligible to vote.”

No shit, Sherlock!   tinyok

Quote:Just days earlier, officials in Texas announced they had found nearly 100,000 noncitizens on the state’s voter rolls.

The numbers, while not yet evidence of massive voter fraud that President Trump said marred the popular vote in the 2016 election, are nonetheless higher than the almost-zero levels of voting mischief that the president’s critics have suggested.

Oh dear!  I didn't even count TX. I thought it was a mostly red state.   tinyhuh

The Dems are saying the numbers in TX aren't true and they will fight having them removed.

Quote:Some of those Trump opponents don’t believe the latest numbers, particularly in Texas, where Hispanic activists sued to stop a potential purge of the noncitizen names that the state identified.

“It’s clear that the right-wing elements in Texas government are trying to rig the system to keep power and disenfranchise 95,000 American citizens,” said Domingo Garcia, national president of the League of United Latin American Citizens. “There is no voter fraud in Texas. It’s a lie repeated time and again to suppress minority voters, and we’re going to fight hard against it.”

Good luck with that. You have been exposed!

Pelosi is going to hold the next stimulus package until she gets congress to pass the bill for mail-in voting for November.

I'm so angry with this woman and her zombies that follow without question. Even those who know what's really going on continue to support these pieces of poop just because they have been brainwashed by the media to hate Trump.

If mail-in voting is passed, they just might steal the election. This has me worried somewhat, but I'm hoping there will be enough oversight in place to make sure cheating doesn't happen.
Hope is all we have at this point.

We can't allow these evil possessed, soulless, excuses for humans to ever gain control again!

Quote:Sunday on “Full Court Press,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) told host Greta van Susteren vote-by-mail would be in the next coronavirus stimulus legislation.

Pelosi said, “Well, let me stay a couple of things. First of all, I’m proud of our state of California. Jerry Brown, when he left, scores of billions of dollars of surplus. That’s all gone because of the virus. That’s all gone because of the virus. So, to those who make that charge about, ‘oh, they had problems before,’ it has nothing to do with that. This is strictly, what are your outlays for the coronavirus?
What is your revenue loss for the coronavirus?
That’s what has the support of Democratic and Republican governors across the country. It strictly about this, and it’s about nothing else. It has nothing to do with anything else in the budget of the governors.

And we will come and our bill, also have funding for vote by mail, which we think is essential and supported by Republicans across the country. They like voting by mail. They have more of a habit of voting by mail.”

Oh, by the way, if you haven't noticed yet, all the states that are still locked down are controlled by democRats. They are using the Covid-19 to suck as much money from the government as they possibly can, while also using it to extort the public from getting more stimulus checks as our country opens back up.
Whatever Pelosi stated in these comments, you can rest assured that the opposite is true.

Evil I say, just pure evil!   smallveryupset

Quote:Van Susteren asked, “How our vote by mail and absentee voting different?”

Pelosi said, “This is related to COVID for the reason that we are trying to keep people at home, vote at home and the rest, vote by mail does one thing—I was a former chair of the California party, and our goal was to remove all obstacles to participation.”

May I ask a question? If people have to stand in line at the "essential" stores, what's the difference in standing in line to vote?
This isn't about keeping people safe, it's about being able to cheat during the election.

Meh. She can hold it until hell freezes over for all I care - I've still not seen a penny of what they owe me from the FIRST THREE "stimulus packages" - so one more lie from the government won't count much to me. By my count, they owe me, so far, $8152.00 and counting.... but I don't expect I'll ever see any of it. My best guess is they're hoping I starve to death, but I got news for 'em - I know where the food lives around here.

They'd better leave me the hell alone when I'm dragging it out of the woods, too.

Quote:[url=https://apnews.com/JoeBiden]Joe Biden has longed to win the White House for more than three decades. If he finally makes it there after November’s election, he’s already talking about leaving.
In an effort to ease concerns about his age, the 77-year-old presumptive Democratic nominee has said he wouldn’t seek reelection if his mental or physical health declined. He has also referred to himself as a “transition candidate,” acting as a bridge to a younger generation of leadership.

Biden is rarely known for sticking to a script, and the comments are evidence of his candid style. But they’re also contributing to intense speculation about who is best positioned to lead the party after him.

The phone call Joe Biden made to Poroshenko that captures his quid pro quo with Ukraine while he was V.P. was dropped today.
I'll leave a link to the full video call, and also a link to a page that has the calls broken down into just a few minutes each. There is also an article I'll leave for you guys below the videos.

I'm interested to see how lying Joe will lie his way out of this one.   tinylaughing

And here is an article:  Article

Quote:MP Andrii Derkach has made public recordings of conversations with "voices similar to Poroshenko and Biden", in which the former President of Ukraine boasts that he raised tariffs by 100% instead of 75%. The recordings that were made at the end of 2015 and during 2016 between Poroshenko and Biden, as well as between the former President of Ukraine and former United States Secretary of State, were made public at a today press conference held by Derkach at Interfax-Ukraine.

According to Derkach, records confirming the facts of international corruption and treason at the highest state level were handed to him by the investigative journalists. According to them, the recording of conversations was made by Poroshenko personally.

"Petro Oleksiyovych confesses to Biden that he raised tariffs for ordinary Ukrainians, attention, not by 75% as requested by the IMF, but by as much as 100%." "Already raised the tariffs by 100%, give me my yard, please." For the sake of a billion for himself, Poroshenko is ready to strip the Ukrainians naked and also make money on tariffs. By the way, tariffs really doubled," Derkach said.
