No Borders... Here's One Of The Reasons.
#41
Just as a little add-on, people are asking why Sadiq Khan hasn't appeared on television to
offer his sympathy and outrage at the recent London stabbings.

I'm guessing that the MSM and politicians are too afraid to say what they know, that he's been
touring the States with his pro-Muslim speeches and been caught-short!

Quote:'...However, Conservative London Assembly Member Shaun Bailey said Mr Khan had "spent a lot of
time dodging the issue saying it's about police cuts when actually it isn't.

"It's about police activity and what has he asked the police to do which is new and different?"
Tottenham MP David Lammy said the capital was "in crisis" but it appeared many politicians did not
care about the issue.

"I've heard nothing from the home secretary. I've heard nothing from the mayor... It's unacceptable.
"Is life in my constituency worth less than life in other parts of the country?" he said...'

Quote:Fourth teen stabbed in East London in 30 minutes -making 5 knife attacks
in capital in one day as bloodbath continues.

Three men have been hospitalised after a shocking attempted murder in Grove Road, Mile End,
hours after a man, in his twenties, was stabbed in Walthamstow, East London

'Four teens have been stabbed in East London in just over 30 minutes today hours after a man
was knifed at lunchtime as the capital's violent crime wave continues.

Following the first attack in Walthamstow, involving a victim in his 20s, three more males,
two aged just 15, have been stabbed in Grove Road, Mile End.

One suspect has been charged with attempted murder after the trio were rushed to hospital after
being attacked at 6.06pm this afternoon.

However, just over 30 minutes earlier another 15-year-old was stabbed on East India Dock Road
which is around 40 minutes walk from the Mile End incident. Police have confirmed the condition
of the East India Dock victim is "stable" and not life-threatening.

One of the victims in the Mile End attack is being treated for minor injuries while there is still no
confirmation on the condition of the other two. The lunchtime attack in Walthamstow saw police
and ambulance crews swarm the area after reports came in over the stabbing.

Helicopters have been seen circling overhead while stunned residents revealed their shock.
Posting to Twitter, one witness said: "Another Stabbing on my road in Walthamstow.
This is getting out of hand.

Another resident added: "Good lord, another stabbing in Walthamstow. Stay safe if you're in
London these next few days, very scary. A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: “Officers
and LAS attended the location.
“The victim - believed to be aged in his 20s - has been taken to hospital. “We await an update as
to his condition.”

MP for the area, Stella Creasy said shortly after the incident: "I understand there has been another
incident today involving violence -am trying urgently to get you all an update on this issue and accurate
information as I know this is very distressing."

The stabbings comes a day after 16-year-old Amaan Shakoor died after being shot in the face in a
suspected gang war attack in Walthamstow. Friends of the teen, who passed away in hospital yesterday
night, said they believed he was killed in a case of mistaken identity.

This morning 18-year-old Israel Ogunsola was named as the latest victim of London's violent crime wave
after he was stabbed to death near his home in Homerton, East London, on Wednesday night.
Israel was said to be friends with 17-year-old Tanesha Melbourne who was gunned down in a drive-by
shooting in Tottenham, North London, on Monday evening.

Cops today confirmed a 53-year-old man died in a Betfred in nearby Clapton, on Wednesday afternoon,
after a fight erupted in the bookmakers...'

I do apologise for missing the seventh victim of knife-crime in London, I went to bed at 10.00pm. and forgot
that this type of behavior isn't time-sensitive and takes a while to go to press.

left fighting for his life.

'Six teens were stabbed in London in a 90-minute bloodbath hours after after a man, in his twenties, was stabbed

just over half an hour later.

At 6.57pm a 13-year-old boy was rushed to hospital in a critical condition after being stabbed in Newham, before a
man in his late teens was attacked less than ten minutes later in Ealing Broadway -taking the grim total of victims to seven.

One suspect has been charged with attempted murder after the trio attacked in Mile End were knifed yesterday afternoon.
And three people were taken into custody following the last stabbing of the violent day in Newham.

Infidels Dare To Run.

Quote:Man held over 'plot to attack Berlin half marathon'

'Police have arrested four men, all of whom are thought to be connected to the 2016 Christmas market attacker Anis Amri.

A man has been arrested over an alleged plot to attack Sunday's Berlin half marathon.
The suspect was arrested with three other men, with all four believed to have connections to the Berlin Christmas market
attacker Anis Amri.

Anis Amri.

The main suspect is believed to have plotted knife attacks on spectators and participants of the sporting event, which was
attended by 36,000 people on Sunday morning. German newspaper Die Welt reported that security forces believe the suspect
may have been motivated by revenge for the death of Amri, who was shot dead by police in Italy days after the 2016 Christmas
attack.

Twelve people were killed and dozens injured when the 24-year-old Tunisian drove a truck into Berlin's crowded Christmas
market, fleeing the scene on foot. Amri had been put on several terror watchlists and six months of covert surveillance after he
arrived in Germany in 2015, and his asylum application had been rejected by authorities.

Local media reported that the suspect in Sunday's plot planned to use specially sharpened knives in an attack, and that several
apartments had been searched in connection to the operation.
Police confirmed arrests and an unnamed investigator told Die Welt it had been a "close call", but authorities released few further
details.

A morning of sunny weather had brought out high numbers of spectators for Sunday's marathon, now in its 38th year in Berlin.
According to Die Welt, Berlin senator Andreas Geisel said tight security for the event had been checked after a van drove into
a crowd in Munster on Saturday, killing two people.

There had not been any immediate danger at the event as authorities had been monitoring the plot suspect for some time before
his arrest, he said..'

Well,,,,,, to all my EU Rogue-Nation Friends,,,, That Mayor in London Is A Complete Idiot!  :smallimpatient:
Quote:London's Mayor Declares Intense New 'Knife Control' Policies To Stop Epidemic Of Stabbings  minusculewtf
REALLY!!?? So I ask You,,,, Do the Bad Guys / Gals Follow the Law!!?? Are you going to have,,,,, Knife Free Zones?   tinysurprised

Quote:The police will now stop and frisk people believed to be carrying knives.  minusculespooked

Quote:An epidemic of stabbings and acid attacks in London has gotten so bad that London mayor Sadiq Khan is announcing broad new "knife control" policies designed to keep these weapons of war out of the hands of Londoners looking to cause others harm.

The "tough, immediate" measures involve an incredible police crackdown, a ban on home deliveries of knives and acid, and expanding law enforcement stop-and-search powers so that police may stop anyone they believe to be a threat, or planning a knife or acid attack.

Khan announced Friday
that the city has created a "violent crime taskforce of 120 officers" tasked with rooting out knife-wielding individuals in public spaces, and is pumping nearly $50 million dollars into the Metropolitan Police department, so that they can better arm themselves against knife attacks.

He's also empowering the Met Police to introduce "targeted patrols with extra stop and search powers for areas worst-affected," according to a statement.
So,,,,,,,,,,,,, Really,,,,, The Bad Guys / Gals are going to Stop and Obey the Law and not have Acid or Knifes delivered to their homes,,,, OK,,,, You are Just Plan STUPID!

Quote:Parliament is also set to take up heavy "knife control" legislation when it resumes this week.

The UK government is expected to introduce a ban on online knife sales and home knife deliveries, declare it "illegal to possess zombie knives and knuckledusters in private" -- "zombie knifes" are those defined as being manufactured for the purpose of being used as a person-to-person weapon -- and ban sales of caustic materials to anyone under the age of 18, the Independent reports.

London has seen a dramatic uptick in murder rates, surpassing even New York City in number of homicides every month since the beginning of 2018. It has some of the strictest gun control laws in the world, and, technically, knives carried "without good reason" are off limits to anyone under the age of 18.

Quote:IS 'Beatles' warn of more attacks in Europe in Sky News interview.

Speaking to Sky News, Alexanda Kotey and El Shafee Elsheikh also refuse to condemn
attacks in London and Manchester.

'Two men accused of being members of the Islamic State 'Beatles' cell have told Sky News
there will be more IS-inspired attacks in Europe. Alexanda Kotey and El Shafee Elsheikh,
who were captured by the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) earlier this year,
issued the warning in a Sky News interview.

Alexanda Kotey and El Shafee Elsheikh.

They said they did not die on the battlefield because "God decreed" it was not their destiny.
The men, both from west London, did not deny being members of the four man British IS cell,
and seemed unrepentant.

Speaking to Sky News at a detention facility in Kurdish-controlled northern Syria, they said they
would wait for a court to prove they were directly part of the group that held 20 hostages and
oversaw the beheading of seven.

They did not specifically condemn terror attacks in London, Manchester, Paris and Brussels.
The pair insisted they were not responsible for the violence carried out by Islamic State, in the
same way that British people are not responsible for the actions of the UK military.

Kotey described the videos issued by Islamic State of people being beheaded as "propaganda"
and blamed western media.

While the pair accepted being members of Islamic State, they said they joined for religious reasons.
The group's ringleader Mohammed Emwazi, who became known as 'Jihadi John', died after a drone
strike in 2015.

Kotey, described by neighbours as a "reserved, polite boy", is believed to have attended the Al Manaar
mosque in Notting Hill with Emwazi after converting to Islam as a teenager.
He left his London life and two children behind to travel to Syria in 2009.

According to the US State Department, Kotey acted as a guard for IS and "likely engaged in the group's
executions and exceptionally cruel torture methods, including electronic shock and waterboarding".

Elsheikh came to Britain as a child refugee from Sudan and lived in White City.
Before his transformation into a jihadist, he worked as a mechanic and was described by his mother,
Maha Elgigouli, as "very clever" and a "nice boy"...'

On and on, chaos ran and no one seemed to care.

Quote:London double stabbing as man knifed on DLR and second attacked at petrol station.

A man has been stabbed in broad daylight in East London as the violent crime wave
gripping the capital shows no signs of slowing down.

'The unnamed victim was attacked on Upper Clapton Road in Hackney, just across the
road from a Shell petrol station. Police and London Ambulance crews are on the scene.

In a statement, the Met Police said: "Police were called at 14.55 hours to reports that a
male had been stabbed in Upper Clapton Road, E5.
"Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and found a man, aged in his 20s,
suffering from a stab wound."

Roads have been cordoned off in the area. The man has been rushed to a hospital in East
London. It comes just one week after police were called to a fatal attack on the same road
outside a Betfred bookies.

Earlier today a man was stabbed on a busy rush-hour train in East London.

This month London's murder rate overtook New York's for the first time since records began.
No arrests have yet been made. The man's injuries are not said to be life-threatening...'
SOURCE:

Quote:London bloodbath continues as man stabbed on busy train during rush hour.

A man has been stabbed on a busy London train during rush hour as the capital's crime wave continues.

'The victim was attacked around 9am today in East London on the Docklands Light Railway.
Stratford International Station, where the attack took place, is just a stone's throw from Westfield
shopping centre.

The station was extremely busy as commuters used the service for their morning journey to work.
British Transport Police said in a statement: "Shortly after 9am this morning, officers were called to
Stratford International station after reports of a serious assault.

"A man was treated for injuries consistent with being stabbed, his injuries are not believed to be life
threatening. "A cordon was in place whilst this assault is investigated. Likewise, there were delays to
DLR services whilst enquires were made. There have been no arrests at this time."

The news comes as London has been hit by a spate of murders this year, with numbers surprassing
those in New York, famous for its notoriously high homicide rates.
A teenage boy, 13, who is currently in hospital in a serious condition, is the latest stabbing victim.

Six teens were stabbed within an hour and a half on the same night in Walthamstow, East India Dock,
Mile End, Newham and Ealing Broadway. Theresa May has joined MPs such as David Lammy and
London Mayor Sadiq Khan in speaking out on the issue of gun and knife crime.

It was revealed that children as young as eight are joining violent gangs in a bid to follow in the footsteps
of older teens. While public bodies rush to reverse the mounting problem, with reports of turf wars escalating,
there have been calls for more widespread use of emergency stop and search powers.

Met Police Commissioner Cressida Dick has approved an increase in the use of the powers, as pressure
on police intensifies.

Stop and search has been a controversial issue in recent years, with many suggesting it results in unfair
targetting of ethnic minorities. Emergency A60 orders have been put in place recently in Walthamstow and
Camden, resulting in police flooding the streets in a bid to get knives off the streets.

Knives are not the only problem on the streets of London, with numerous teens gunned down as part of the
worsening London crime wave. Tanesha Melbourne, 17, was shot in a drive-by attack in Tottenham on Monday
as she was stood with friends, and Amaan Shakoor, 16, was gunned down in Walthamstow.

Home Secretary Amber Rudd said it was a "mistake" to blame the London crime epidemic on faling police numbers.
She said: “It’s up to the Met Police Commissioner in London and the Police and Crime Commissioner Sadiq Khan
to decide how that money is spent. “They will have their views about how best to support their local communities.”...'

HAHAHAHAAAA! "Zombie knives" - I like that! It's far catchier than "dangerous assault-knives" and "weapons of war"! We should use that over here - I'll start! My "assault weapon" is now, and henceforth shall ever be, a "zombie rifle"!

When are the high school kids over there going to start marching in the streets, protesting against "knife violence" and calling for stricter "knife control" with more invasive "background checks" and "mental health certification" for owning or operating knives? Is there to be knife licensing in the offing, or is that already a reality there?

What about cricket bats? Are they next? Once you get those pesky zombie knives under controls, will there be a wave of "cricket bat violence"?

Has anyone thought to, you know, maybe control the violent people instead? That idea still hasn't struck here, but we're backwards like that, and still trapped at the "gun violence" level...
Diogenes was eating bread and lentils for supper. He was seen by the philosopher Aristippus, who lived comfortably by flattering the king.

Said Aristippus, ‘If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.’ Said Diogenes, ‘Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.’

There was a lot of debate on what to call them considering the luminous-green handles hinted that the
weapons originated from a 'gay-ish' Joel Schumacher Batman movie.

In actuality, the bright handles were installed to make sure the drug-selling, poverty-stricken boy on the
bicycle could find it later -if he dropped it when a Policeman walked around the corner.
Such is life for a professional criminal.

By the way, painting the butt of your rifle green and THEN firing at the passing Ramblers and mountain-loving
hikers doesn't help.
Just sayin'.

We're still having bouts of cold weather over here in the UK and the protest-marches of the bourgeois-crowd like to
show their indignation when the temperature is more in line with drinking Bollinger from the bottle.

There's also the awkward problem of the majority of these young people that carry such knives of being of a certain
ethnicity and skin-tone. Political correctness demands we should pity them and not hold them to the standards that
others adhere to.
However, when the sun shines down on London, I'm sure the marches will start with the added bonus of getting
some good shopping done too, maybe down Oxford Street -if the phone-stealing moped riders allow it.

The cricket bat can be seen as a weapon and if memory serves, it's up there with sarin gas and my mother-in-law's
Yorkshire Puddings. It's said that the Duke of Wellington laid waste to Napoleon's armies with such a bludgeon and
an unverified report stated that Winston Churchill knocked a Doodle-bug 'for six' back into the North Sea during the
Blitz with a cricket bat.

That's the problem with history, it gives credence to why some people hold to weapons as a deterrent and not give in
to those who think they don't belong in the hands of patriotic folk.

Since everyone lives in a security-guard-patrolled gated-community in the United States, why not hand over your guns?
Nancy Pelosi is 'from the street' and knows what's she's rapping about, doesn't she?
Surely Chuck Schumer has the nation's best interests at-heart?

Sadly, gone are the days when you guys used to listen to us Brits before you decided to be independent and become the
greatest country in history.

(04-15-2018, 09:52 AM)gordi Wrote: What's "cricket"?

It's complicated. It involves a self-massaging of the genital area with a hard ball, a person standing
in front of three sticks with a little wooden doohickey balanced on top and a bat made of willow.
All participants wear white, unless there's some sponsorship involved.

The chap who's been arousing himself with the ball takes fives minutes to contemplate whether to
run towards the bicycle-handle-moustached gent defending the three sticks or possibly allow the
flock of seagulls that are resting close by on the pitch, to remain as a group.

If 'the bowler' decides to run, he must swing his arm over his head in the final phase of his stampede
and hurl the ball that he loves at the sentinel of the three sticks. There are strategically-placed people
standing around in the field of play that are waiting to catch the leather ball if it's struck with the bat.

These guardsmen can sometimes be seen wearing war-paint in the effort to offset the sun that rarely
visits the British Isles. Maybe that's why these matches tend to be in India, Jamaica-man and Down-Under.

There's an umpire, a referee who enjoys wearing the jumpers and hats that the players standing around
don't wish to use and he gives his judgements via hand signals and pensive frowns.
His own garb consists of a laboratory coat and white-straw trilby hat, which doesn't make him look silly.

The game has quickened since a well-known Australian media-mogul has purchased the rights to broadcast
the tournaments from the BBC and the participants now offer exciting high-fives and hugging to stir the
crowd after knocking down the three sticks or catching the struck ball.

For winning a particular tournament where England play against an Australian team consisting mainly of
ball-tamperers and prison convicts, the victors receive a small vial holding the alleged burnt ashes of a
cricket ball.

I hope this helps and may I add the game as come a long way from the days of being shown on BBC 2 at
10.00.am on a weekday morning for cigar-smoking politicians with sod-all to do in Westminster.
See John Major for details.

Formal identification and a post-mortem examination are due to take place. No arrests have been made.
The death comes after two people died of stab wounds in London on Sunday. Almost 40 people have been
stabbed to death in the capital this year.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan said his "heart goes out" to the Forest Gate victim's friends and family.
He added his team were "relentlessly focusing" on how to prevent knife crime.
Earlier this month Mr Khan said he "did not accept that the police have lost control of crime in London".

Seyi Akiwowo, a councillor for Forest Gate, said in a Tweet that the latest death made her "want to yell at
politicians! 'You're not doing enough!'"
Rachel Tripp, another Newham councillor, added the death was "unspeakably tragic".

The Met Police said paramedics from London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance were sent
to the scene. A spokesman added: "Officers are in the process of informing next of kin."
A cordon remains in place at the scene as investigations continue.

Detectives have asked for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward...'

What more can the politicians do...? I know they're not handing the knives out with precise instructions on
how to stab people, so dare I say that it's the people who carry the weapons that are at fault?
In this low-brow blame-game, I find it fascinating that Councillors believe the problem is a lack of policing
and governance!!
