The Dark Shadows Of Facebook.

According to the e-mail, they are going to lift the ban once the identity is independently confirmed, so I don't see that aspect as a big deal - they're just covering their own asses from a lawsuit by the named individual if it turns out to be a false report.. i.e."fake news".

Of more concern to me is the list of politically censored items, and the list of "Elections Cross functional Partners". I'd kind of like to see Facebook's rationale for THAT, especially the censorship of "activists" - once one becomes an activist, he'd damned well better expect some attention to come his way, or his activism is in vain!

.
Diogenes was eating bread and lentils for supper. He was seen by the philosopher Aristippus, who lived comfortably by flattering the king.

Said Aristippus, ‘If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.’ Said Diogenes, ‘Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.’
