There's a conspiracy theory that bad people don't follow laws, but it's just a crazy theory!

I just have to ask this - of what use is passing law if only honest folk obey them? Wouldn't that just create a super class of honest and law-abiding - and unarmed - victims? Doesn't that mean that "the law" is of no real use to anyone but criminals, who benefit greatly from the inability of their intended victims to shoot back?

Logic can be your friend, but it seems that legislators have abandoned logic in favor of something called "the vote", and that voters voting for them probably never got acquainted with logic in the first place... and these are the dumbasses trying to rule MY roost? It boggles the mind!

.
Diogenes was eating bread and lentils for supper. He was seen by the philosopher Aristippus, who lived comfortably by flattering the king.

Said Aristippus, ‘If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.’ Said Diogenes, ‘Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.’
