Fossils and Modern Humans

I had a Professor once at the University of Beijing that told us he believed Humans Predated Dinosaurs a very advanced race of Humans.
They wiped themselves out, all put a few million and the Footprints alongside Dinosaurs are those Survivors even with the meteor that destroyed the Dinosaurs.   
Humans basically just barely survived. 
A advanced Alien Race then came to Earth and Manipulated the DNA of some Humans and we had Giants and Humans once again began to Prosper and build and advanced themselves.

Those were his ideas or thoughts on the subject in the early 70's.
