Thanks @"BIAD".  It will be interesting to learn the woman's name, then start researching who she's connected to.  Or, it could be any of them aboard, but since the woman was an American, my gut says it's her, and she was possibly trying to escape a future fate.

ETA:  Oops!  There were 10 Americans aboard.  This widens the probe.
