Maryland Judge Orders An Investigation Into Clinton’s Attorneys
#1
Looks like they won't go after Hillary, but they are in hot pursuit of her lawyers. Will they spill the beans to implicate her?

Quote:One day before Hillary Clinton’s tour of her new book, Maryland judge ordered the state bar to start an investigation of the three lawyers who helped her erase the private emails from her private email server she had during the time she was Secretary of State.
Monday the Circuit Judge Paul F. Harris Jr overruled the objections from lawyers defending Maryland and said that the state bar can’t oversee the allegations by calling them “frivolous.”

David E. Kendall, Cheryl Mills and Heather Samuelson, are licensed attorneys in Maryland and can face professional consequences if it’s proved that they broke the law.

Ty Clevenger, a Texas lawyer, claimed that they destroyed evidence by erasing thousands of emails from Clinton’s private server.
Ty Clevenger is writing a book on political corruption, and Clinton email scandal is another proof of attorneys gaining preferential treatment.

“There are allegations of destroying evidence,” Judge Harris said Monday about Clevenger’s complaint filed in Maryland.
Harris pointed out that according to Maryland’s rules the bar is forced to investigate the allegations, and said that Clevenger’s request “appears to have merit.”

Maryland’s Attorney Grievance Commission, in 2016, fought against a hearing for Clevenger’s allegations, saying he had “no personal knowledge of the allegations” so no investigation was needed.

Assistant Attorney General Alexis Rhode, representing the Grievance Commission and the Office of Bar Counsel, on Monday during the hearing said that they already concluded that Clevenger’s complaint is “frivolous.”

“Because all these complaints are confidential, I’m unable to put that before the court,” she said.
Judge Harris rejected Rhode’s stance and ordered an investigation.

“I just think this is a rather easy decision at this point,” he said. “The court is ordering bar counsel to investigate.”
