Quote:Extensional faults (arrows) on the surface of Pluto indicate expansion of the dwarf planet’s icy crust, attributed to freezing of a subsurface ocean.
I will attach a link here Linky because the article is long and wordy.
the just need to say, Hey, at some time in the past, Pluto had water on it's surface and now it is under the surface, at least we think so.
There my Friends is the Short Of the Long  tinysure
That is so cool and fascinating! I too will always consider Pluto a planet. I was shocked and dismayed when they said it was no longer considered a planet.

Poor Pluto, it's the unwanted stepchild or something.
The kid on the block that no one wanted at their party.

Scientists over the years in regards to Pluto being a planet:

-Yes
-No
-Maybe

I will always think of Pluto as a planet.

I wonder if they demoted it when Zachariah Sitchen mentioned it in his books, when he was discussing possibilities of Planet X a.k.a. Nibiru?

Just a thought.....

Good find!!
