I just made some wild violet jelly today. Nothing as exciting as a papaya tree though. Good Bellah for leading you out there!(04-13-2022, 03:26 AM)VioletDove Wrote: I planted a few sunflowers several years ago. They must like my soil here because they’ve since started popping up everywhere. My husband and I often disagree on whether or not to pull them up when we see them growing in our garden. He sees them as a nuisance but I think they are pretty and I like to let them grow. RE: Sunflowers ? - rickymouse - 04-14-2022 I would rather grow Jerusalem artichokes, they come up year after year and the roots taste pretty good. Salted sunflower seeds are pretty good, but too much is not good for anyone, and they are a lot of work to get a finished product. Considering how cheap they are, I will just buy them. |
