Remember the Alamo and Scotland. - guohua - 10-31-2021 @"gordi" I thought you might find this interesting, I did. RE: Remember the Alamo and Scotland. - GeauxHomeLittleD - 10-31-2021 When my family went to the Alamo when I was a kid they actually talked about it on the tour. Something else pretty cool is that on Galveston Island at "Dickens on the Strand" they have a large marching bagpipe band every year! My mom used to drag us to go see them. (Did I mention she's half Scot?) I just loved watching men in kilts myself! RE: Remember the Alamo and Scotland. - gordi - 10-31-2021 (10-31-2021, 09:00 PM)guohua Wrote: @"gordi" YEAH! I enjoyed that, and I didn't know that there was a Scots presence at The Alamo. I have been to DULL however, and have a photo somewhere of me standing by the Dull road sign! It's a lovely part of the world. Thanks for sharing, Gx |
