Senate leaves until September without coronavirus relief deal - xuenchen - 08-14-2020

Well look at this will ya !!

The Senate has decided to Middle-Finger the Democrats and say see ya later !!

They are now apparently in recess and won't be back till next month !!

Democrats have failed to trick Republicans this time !!

They have been doing their best to sneak in all sorts of BS legislation into a new COVID19 Bill but it didn't work !!

COVID19 victims will have to wait !!

Guess Democrats don't see the Virus as all that important anymore eh  tinycool

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) had kept the chamber in session this week, which was technically the first in its August recess, as a last-ditch attempt to create space for the administration and congressional Democrats to get an agreement.

But with talks stalemated, senators argue there is little reason for them to keep holding daily, roughly 1 1/2-hour sessions. The House already left town and isn't expected to return until Sept. 14.

I hope all the democrats who are in financial distress right now remember this November 3rd at the polls.

They want a big bailout for the states/cities that allowed the rioters to destroy their cities, and they didn't get it, so they puckered their lip out and went home, to hell with the people!

I guarantee you, if that deal is ever made, there will be some money laundering with huge payments coming back to their pockets. That's ALL they worry about.

well didn't the senate sneak in 30 billion in on their version for the pentagon. there should be nothing else in the bills except covid relief. none of the 535 members of congress deserve to be there.

The goal is hyperinflation.

I've got gold.  It's too heavy to do anything with other than bury it.

Copper-covered lead will probably be in higher demand when it finally gets down to the jiggy.  Stockpiling that ... oh Hell yeah!!

My thinking exactly.  If the shit hits the fan like that, where dollars are suddenly useless, the currency will be guns, bullets, and food.

Amazing isn't it?  How out of touch they are?

I'm one of the lucky ones who's worked through the pandemic.  If I was at a point where I was going to lose my home because of their decisions and greed, heads would be rolling.  Literally.  I'm kind of surprised it hasn't happened yet to be honest.
