Trump - We May Not Be Seeing Him For A While - Mystic Wanderer - 08-08-2020 I want to transfer this thread by Brian Cates from Twitter for you to read. He explains why President Trump has to leave the White House for his own safety during the take down of some very high level crooks. "They are very rich and powerful, and they don't like what I'm doing." I'm paraphrasing that quote by Pres. Trump. I think he was referring to Big Pharma, or he could be referring to many things that are in operation right now. Read the thread and let me know your opinion. I Have Not Yet Begun To Pounce - Brian Cates @drawandstrike Quote:You all know why Trump has now left the White House - being seen off by the entire WH staff before he traveled to Ohio - because he won't be back for awhile - to go to his resort in Bedminster, NJ, right? Still think nothing is happening? RE: Trump - We May Not Be Seeing Him For A While - PLOTUS - 08-08-2020 Oh if it were so, what a relief for the honest man and just deserts for the evil and dispicable. And a bonus would be if Hillary and Bill were snared too, and faced their crimes. Still it seems too much to hope for. RE: Trump - We May Not Be Seeing Him For A While - Wallfire - 08-08-2020 As I said before, to defeat evil good must become more evil that the evil it fights. The questions are can Trump become more evil that that which he is fighting in order to defeat it and then return to good. Or will he end up been partly evil. People who hunt evil to much will at some point become evil. I agree, I think it'll have to get way uglier before it gets better. If Trump is doing what he says he's doing, I wish him all the luck. Did Jesus become evil after he whipped the money makers in the temple and ran them out? Did David become evil after he killed Goliath with a sling shot? There are many examples where good had to use evil to kill the enemy but never became evil afterwards. I think Trump has God on his side and this is why he will win in the end. RE: Trump - We May Not Be Seeing Him For A While - xuenchen - 08-08-2020 Let's hope the Clintons haven't "renewed" their friendship !! RE: Trump - We May Not Be Seeing Him For A While - beez - 08-08-2020 As much as I'd like for this to be true, I'll remain skeptical until such time as they're all in jail or at the very least, federal court. I don't see the "evil" in either of those actions. They both seem to be on behalf of the people. Maybe I've stared into the Abyss a few minutes too long... . RE: Trump - We May Not Be Seeing Him For A While - putnam6 - 08-09-2020 Lets hope so, Im pretty sure its going to have to earth-shattering and obviously true to convince the completely brainwashed left. Have you noticed that you can usually pick up on the personality of the boss, by observing those that work the closest to them? When you work in a particular environment for too long, it starts to bleed into you, and you start to morph. That is why some toxic work places have shortened service times for retirement. We do become what we consume, on many levels. The last place I worked, I got "stepped down" from Team Lead, a manager position for a team of 25 people, because we didn't have enough agents to support the number of Team Leads we had, and I was low on the totem pole (which equates to seniority, "time in grade", rather than ability, oddly enough), so myself and one other TL/TM got "stepped down", back to agents, and the teams got redistributed. My team all but mutinied. 3 other TL/TM's quit. Two of the higher ups got shit-canned, all because TPTB had no idea how to run a business. My Team was pretty put out at that turn of events, and pulled together as a team to cover ME, because I had spent my entire career there covering THEM, backing them up, and they knew it. I still have the Christmas cards from some of them declaring it. They screamed at MY boss. Not me, MY BOSS. Screamed. Literally screamed. I was there for that meeting, I saw it with my own eyes. They let their displeasure at the turn of events be known to the higher-ups at every opportunity. I tried to talk them into staying (until I was back as TL/TM), as it was a temporary thing, but about half of them quit over it anyhow. 4 months later, I was back in the saddle, as I told them I would be, but by then half of them had already quit over it. I shit you not, it was one of the few things to have occurred in this world that brought tears to my eyes. Even my boss saw my eyes running, but she was kind enough to never mention it to me, even when she got shit-canned and I fought TPTB over that. I have rarely ever seen such loyalty, but it was entirely because they knew I had been loyal to them, and in my case I knew she had been loyal to me.. FWIW, my boss offered me a job at her new location, but I had to turn it down due to the distance involved. TPTB sure fucked that instance up. It's what they do - TPTB has no loyalty. ETA: some of my team are still around town, and are STILL loyal to me. It boggles my mind. I just don't know how to take it. , RE: Trump - We May Not Be Seeing Him For A While - F2d5thCav - 08-09-2020 @"Ninurta" Quote:TPTB has no loyalty. And no long-term vision. Short term as Hell. Their stock was at 63.60 a share when we contracted with them. It rose to 82.05 a share when we actually started working for them. I just checked it, and it is, right now (10 months after they shit us out), at 0.11 a share, and in bankruptcy apparently, all because TPTB there have no idea how to run a business. They should have made me CEO - I could have tanked it faster and better than their current CEO if that is what they wanted. Hell, I could have utterly trashed the company for half the price the current CEO charged them to do it! If, on the other hand, they had actually wanted to make their business successful, I could have done that, too, and again for half the price their current CEO charged them to shit-can it! He charged them about 7 million bucks - I'd have taken it wherever they wanted it to go for 3.5 mill! All they had to do was invest in the proper infrastructure, and stand behind the proper customer service folks. Instead, they bought rotted infrastructure from Verizon (in California, Texas, and Florida), and then let that infrastructure rot further ( Frontier actually prevented techs from going out and fixing the rot), and shit on their customer service reps (and customers). Customer service is there to service customers, not sell your substandard shit. if you want a sales staff, hire sales reps. So now, stock is down to $0.11 a share, and they cannot afford to make the company successful ever again. Stock at 11 cents a share is just over 1/1000th what it was when I started working their contract. It has devalued to 1/1000th what it was then (around 4 years ago) , through mismanagement. They should have made me CEO then - I could have saved their sinking ship. Instead, they paid no attention to what I had to say. Or I could have totally tanked it, if that is what they were after, for much less money. Ass wipes. They gave me hell because when I talked to the higher-ups, I never sugar coated it, I told them just the way I saw it. TPTB can't handle that shit. My Dear Old Dad was a self-proclaimed dumbass, quit school in the 7th grade, and even HE taught me how to be successful in a business! That don't say much for Frontier CEO's, now does it? Dad's formula was simple: "set your prices just a little lower than the competition, but provide much better service". I can let that loose into the wild now, since I am too old to take advantage of it. Aspiring entrepreneurs - you're welcome! . RE: Trump - We May Not Be Seeing Him For A While - F2d5thCav - 08-09-2020 @"Ninurta" I've seen plenty of successful organizations go down, mostly because they undermined themselves trying to satisfy the greed of a few at the top. Cost cutting, cutting corners, firing good staff, promoting brown-nosers etc. It is always the same story, it must be something in the group dynamics that brings about the self-destructive behavior. Government is just as bad about forming cliques and instituting revolving door mechanisms. The tax payers have been taken for a ride for a long time. Cheers |
