Russia Vs Germany movie - 727Sky - 07-12-2020
Many Russian movies are slow and have bad acting especially the old movies. However this particular Russian Movie (English subtitles) shows some of the action during the opening of the war. The best war is the one you can avoid IMO but these folks had no choice.

The last 10 years or so they have made some very good war movies with very good acting. Worth checking out

Absolutely agree and they are even doing some good Alien/SiFi stuff with special effects top notch IMO.

Wow, that ship really reconfigured some of those eastern-style tower blocs . . . I guess that was the Russian Air Force engaging it?

Остров is a film worth watching I found it to be well acted and the story deep. link
White Tiger, a well made film and a bit different, worth watching. link

I've seen some films and serials from Slavic countries. I like their productions, a lot of gritty reality.
