Details are still coming out...

Quote:Eleven police officers were shot, four of them fatally, when two snipers opened fire with rifles in downtown Dallas Thursday evening during a protest over recent police shootings in other states, police said.

One suspect was in a “shootout” with a Dallas SWAT team and was taken into custody, with a “suspicious package” found near where he was captured, Dallas police said. A bomb squad was sent to the scene.

Police said one female was in custody, while another was cornered in a garage and talking to police.

The suspect “told our negotiators that the end is coming, and he’s going to hurt and kill more of us,” Dallas Police Chief David Brown said.
Police throughout the evening were looking at a variety of “persons of interest.”

One man seen wearing camouflage and carrying a rifle, identified as a “person of interest” in a police photo disseminated to the public, quickly turned himself in, police said. A relative said the man was a protester, not one of the gunmen.

Meanwhile, another person was seen carrying a camouflage bag and walking quickly down Lamar Street, then throwing the bag into the back of a black Mercedes and driving off at a high rate of speed, Dallas Police Chief David Brown said.
Officers pulled the vehicle over and were questioning its two occupants.

Brown said authorities have reason to believe that the suspects had threatened to plant a bomb “in the downtown area.”

“We believe that these suspects were positioning themselves in a way to triangulate on these officers from two different perches and garages in the downtown area and planned to injure and kill as many law enforcement officers as they could,” the chief said.

Quote:An eyewitness video aired on KDFW-TV appears to show a gunman outflanking and shooting a police officer.

The footage shows a man with a rifle standing on the sidewalk, hiding behind a pillar. As another person, apparently a police officer, approaches from behind and hides behind a separate pillar, the gunman turns around and runs toward the officer's pillar, then apparently shoots the officer in the back at close range.

The officer falls to the ground.

At least four of the officers  belonged to the Dallas Area Rapid Transit agency, including one of those who died, according to the agency’s Twitter account.

4 Dallas Officers Killed at Protest Over Shootings by Police

Dallas police officers responded after shots were fired during a protest on Thursday.

Quote:Chief Brown said the shooting was carried out by two snipers who fired down on a demonstration in the city’s downtown area that until then had been peaceful.
They “planned to injure and kill as many law enforcement officers as they could,” Chief Brown said.
“Some were shot in the back,” the chief said. “We believe that these suspects were positioning themselves in a way to triangulate on these officers.”
A civilian in the crowd of almost 1,000 people was also wounded.

Graphic footage aired on a Dallas television station appears to show a mass shooting suspect opening fire on an unidentified individual during a shootout Thursday evening.

The police were also combing downtown Dallas for what they believe was a bomb planted by the snipers as the heart of the country’s ninth-largest city was put on lockdown.

The chief said he had contacted the F.B.I. and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives for help in the investigation.

After Dallas shootings, former congressman threatens war against Obama on Twitter

Quote:Chaos reigns.
At least four police officers are dead after snipers shoot down upon them in Dallas during a peaceful Black Lives Matter protest, following the shootings of two black men by police officers in Louisiana and Minnesota.
More officers are injured. Video streams live on Facebook.
An image of a suspect is tweeted by Dallas Police Department, though it's unclear if he is at all complicit.
Meanwhile, former Illinois Rep. Joe Walsh took to Twitter to apparently threaten the president.
In a tweet since removed, but captured by some, he wrote: "3 Dallas Cops killed. 7 wounded. This is now war. Watch out Obama. Watch out black lives matter punks. Real America is coming after you."
Real America, I suspect, is looking at all these images of death, holding its collective breath and begging for something meaningful to be done.
For Walsh, though, this was the time to spread verbal violence.

Latest is 5 officers dead.
(((R.I.P.)))

The cops used a robot to kill suspect after negotiations did not work.
Believe they used explosives.

Dallas is first city to use a robot in that manner supposedly.

Obamas actions against Our Police basically started here for the public.

Quote:(CNN) -- President Obama said that police in Cambridge, Massachusetts, "acted stupidly" in arresting a prominent black Harvard professor last week after a confrontation at the man's home.
Obama defended Gates on Wednesday night, while admitting that he may be "a little biased," because Gates is a friend.

"But I think it's fair to say, No. 1, any of us would be pretty angry; No. 2, that the Cambridge police acted stupidly in arresting somebody when there was already proof that they were in their own home; and, No. 3 ... that there's a long history in this country of African-Americans and Latinos being stopped by law enforcement disproportionately."
The incident, Obama said, shows "how race remains a factor in this society."
Here is the Racist and Obama as The Same Mindset! Now remember this is an Educator of our Young!
Quote:Crowley wrote in the Cambridge police report that Gates refused to step outside to speak with him, the police report said, and when Crowley told Gates that he was investigating a possible break-in, Gates opened the front door and exclaimed, "Why, because I'm a black man in America?" the report said.
No, but if your home had been broken into you'd Clam to Police was there because You're Black! Obama is a Racist!

Barack Obama calling the Cambridge Police stupid for arresting Henry Louis Gates Jr. after he had proven he owned the house is pure Socialist Ninja Race Card Throwing for Political Gain.

Pardon me, Bullcrapper-In-Chief, but Gates was arrested for staging a Race Card Nutty assault on a police officer in a public place. Gates created this circus side show and he got his ass rightfully arrested for it.
By you pulling a Jesse Jackson and twist it into an act of Racism by the Officer displays your warped view of the world and your chip on your shoulder which seems to somehow give you a right to be a Racist against white folks.

RE: 11 officers shot, 4 fatally during Dallas protest over police shootings - guohua - 07-08-2016

Yes I Blame Obama and his Department Of Justice Thugs, First Holder and now Lynch.
Quote:The number of police officers shot and killed in the USA is 44% higher than at this time last year following the Dallas ambush Thursday night that left five officers dead, according to data from the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.

Breul said it was also the latest of 11 ambushes of police officers so far this year across the country, already outpacing the eight ambushes of law enforcement that occurred last year.

Breul said the last major ambush targeting police occurred at a coffee shop in Lakewood, Wash. on Nov. 29, 2009, when a gunman walked in and opened fire on four city police officers working on their laptop computers preparing for their work shifts. All four were killed. The gunman died two days later in a shootout with police.

Forty-one officers were killed with guns last year.  The largest, annual number of police officers shot and killed nationally in the past ten years was 70, who were killed in 2007, according to the memorial fund website.

The site mentions 70 Officers killed in 2007 but fails to mention that in 2011 73 Officers were killed under Obamas Watch!
Take a look at the statistics here: Link

How about a picture with Tweets!
Quote:‘Black Lives Matter’ supporters responded to the sniper attack in Dallas by celebrating the murder of the five police officers who were gunned down in cold blood.
BLM sympathizers took to Twitter to express their joy at the carnage, with one commenting, “Y’all pigs got what was coming for y’all.”
“Next time a group wants to organize a police shoot, do like Dallas tonight, but have extra men/women to flank the Pigs!,” added another.
“Dude hell yeah someone is shooting pigs in dallas. Solidarity,” commented another user.
“DALLAS keep smoking dem pigs keep up the work,” remarked another.
Last night’s events in Dallas were as painfully predictable as they were tragic.
As I wrote almost a year ago after BLM supporters had plotted to bomb a police station in Ferguson, “Black Lives Matter cannot be described as anything other than a domestic terrorist organization.”

One had to look no further than the fact that the ideological guru behind ‘Black Lives Matter’ – the individual whom its founders cite as their inspiration – Assata Shakur – is a convicted cop killer who is on the FBI’s ‘Most Wanted Terrorists’ list.

BLM protesters have also repeatedly invoked violent rhetoric. During a march in New York, demonstrators chanted, “What do we want? Dead cops. When do we want it? Now!”
BLM agitators have also used the refrain “pigs in a blanket, fry ’em like bacon!” on numerous occasions to promote violence against police officers.
Obama, are you willing to Call These People What They Are? Accessory To Murder!
Yes They Are! They are Promoting Hate Crimes are they Not?

Odd you should mention that.

I heard the tail end of Loretta Lynch's press conference today when i cam home for lunch, and had a "WTF?" moment with what she was saying... then this evening some more material fell into my lap, and it all started making sense. I'm gathering info to put a thread together on it at the moment. We all know I don't make threads, so heads-up: this must be something important to think about.

I'm not real big on the yearly cries of "martial law is coming!" that start flashing across forums like clockwork every May and June. This year may be different, BLM appears at the moment to have a plan, and this may well be the opening shots of it - no pun intended.

Ask yourself how what was a minimum of 4 shooters this morning (3 arrested, and one more dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound) has magically morphed into ONE shooter by this evening, an alleged "lone wolf".

Who has the kind of pull to make that happen?

An Attorney General perhaps?

"Nothing to see here - the shooter is alredy dead or in custody. Go back to sleep now, you're all still safe. They can't attack again. Honest!"

I have to do some searching, I hadn't heard about there only being One Shooter, but they are making a Big Deal Out of the one that shot himself.

Does it help Hillary's Campaign any today when she says that it's the White Police Fault.
Hillary is saying that White People and White Police Must Change To Help Reduce The Number Of Black People Killed.

Excuse Me You Stupid Bitch,,, But it's Black People Who Shoot At Our police More Often Than Whites!
The Standard Democrat Pandering Job!
Quote:“I will call for white people, like myself, to put ourselves in the shoes of those African-American  families who fear every time their children go somewhere, who have to have ‘The Talk,’ about, you now, how to really protect themselves [from police], when they’re the ones who should be expecting protection from encounters with police,” Clinton told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer.
“I’m going to be talking to white people, we’re the ones who have to start listening to the legitimate cries coming from our African-American fellow citizens,” she said.
“We’ve got to figure out what is happening when routine traffic stops, when routine arrests, escalate into killings … Clearly, there seems to be a terrible disconnect between many police departments and officers and the people they have sworn to protect,” she said.
Federal policing guidelines are needed because “we have 18,000 police departments… [some of which need more training to] go after systemic racism, which is a reality, and to go after systemic bias,” she said.
The real meaning:
Quote:To win in November, Clinton need a high turnout of African-American voters.

To Continue with her Pandering she says,,,,,,
Quote:Neither Blitzer nor Clinton suggested that African-American communities have a role in reducing police-encounter deaths, which usually occur in tense engagements between a few cops and a few suspects with extensive criminal histories.
In general, young African-American men are far more likely to commit crimes than young white men, young Asian men or young Latino men. A November 2011 report by the Justice Department showed that young African-American men are just 1 percent of the population, yet are responsible for a disproportionate percentage of murders in the nation.

Clinton suggested that people who disagree with her agenda are racists. “There is so much more to be done… we can’t be engaging in hateful rhetoric or incitement of violence, we need to be bringing people together … we need more love and kindness.”

BRISTOL, TN (AP) -
Authorities in Tennessee say a man who opened fire on a highway in Tennessee targeted police officers and others because he was troubled by incidents involving black people and law enforcement officers.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says in a news release that initial conversations with the suspect revealed he was troubled by incidents across the U.S. The TBI says the suspect is black; the shooting victims are all white.
Investigators say Scott killed one person and wounded three others, including a police officer. Scott had two guns early Thursday morning when he shot at a motel in Bristol, Tennessee, and then shot indiscriminately at several passing cars. When he was confronted by police, he fired at the three officers who responded.
The suspect was shot by the officers and is being treated at a hospital. He has not yet been charged.

A police officer was shot in a suburb of St. Louis.

KMOV-TV reports the officer was shot around 11:10 a.m.

The officer stopped a car and was walking away from it when he was shot in the back.

The incident was caught on the police car cameras.

The officer is in the hospital in critical condition.

In Georgia, authorities say a man opened fire on a police officer in Valdosta Friday morning.

The man reportedly called 911 to report a break-in.

When the officers arrived, he ambushed them, hitting the officer in the abdomen, just below the protective vest.

Other shots hit the officer’s vest.

The suspect was also shot.

Both men are expected to survive.

Valdosta Police Chief Brian Childress said the officer was shot “multiple times” but is going to be fine.

The suspect was not identified.

Childress would not discuss a possible motive.

Dutton said it’s early in the investigation, but there’s nothing to indicate that the shooting was related to the ambush of police officers in Dallas

Trump: Dallas shootings have 'shaken the soul of our nation'

Quote:By David Wright and Rachel Chason, CNN

Now PlayingTrump: Dallas police...

Story highlights
  • Politicians have offered condolences in the wake of the deadly shooting of police officers in Dallas
  • Presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump: "The horrors we are all watching take place in our country"
(CNN)Donald Trump responded to the deadly police shootings in Dallas by offering his prayers to the victims and their families and by calling for restored "law and order."

Speaking in a video released early Friday evening, Trump said the shootings of the 12 officers, five of whom were killed, had "shaken the soul of our nation."

"A brutal attack on our police force is an attack on our country, and an attack on our families. We must stand in solidarity with law enforcement, which we must remember is the force between civilization and total chaos," Trump said. "Every American has the right to live in safety and peace."

He added that the deaths of Alton Sterling in Louisiana and Philando Castile in Minnesota show "how much work we have to do in order to make every American feel that their safety is protected." The video statement marked the first time that Trump had publicly named the victims in the shootings.

Trump also said that racial divisions in the country have "gotten worse, not better" and called for "prayers, love, unity and leadership."

Earlier Friday, Trump issued a statement on the shootings in which he said the U.S. "must restore law and order. We must restore the confidence of our people to be safe and secure in their homes and on the street."

He also cited "senseless, tragic deaths of two motorists in Louisiana and Minnesota," a reference to Sterling and Castile, though he did not mention their names.

The presumptive presidential nominees for both major political parties have postponed campaign events Friday, following the deadliest single day for U.S. law enforcement since September 11, 2001.

[img=300x0]http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2016/images/04/28/politics_app_pageapp_promo_card_1600x900_v2.jpg[/img]
Trump canceled campaign stops in Miami and Hillary Clinton postponed her scheduled rally with Vice President Joe Biden in Scranton, Pennsylvania, as well as a fundraising event. Clinton is still expected to speak Friday afternoon in Philadelphia, where she is expected to address this week's shootings in Dallas, Baton Rouge and Minnesota.

Clinton's speech was scheduled before the shootings.

"I mourn for the officers shot while doing their sacred duty to protect peaceful protesters, for their families & all who serve with them. -H" Clinton tweeted Friday.

Quote:I mourn for the officers shot while doing their sacred duty to protect peaceful protesters, for their families & all who serve with them. -H

Politicians from Texas and around the country offered condolences and reactions to the fatalities, with Trump decrying "the horrors we are all watching take place in our country."

Texas politicians pray for law enforcement

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz sent a series of tweets on Thursday night, writing that "my prayers are with those harmed in Dallas and with the first responders; we will be in touch w/ local authorities to assist however we can."
Cruz also praised police officers' courageous response to the attacks.

Ex-Rep. Joe Walsh deletes tweet threatening 'war' on Obama

"Men & women of law enforcement selflessly run into harm's way to save the lives of others. May God protect them and bring peace upon Dallas," the former Republican presidential hopeful wrote. "May god protect our fallen heroes and bring peace upon the city of Dallas."

Sen. John Cornyn, Cruz's senior colleague from Texas, put out a statement Friday morning, saying, "To target those who serve and protect our community in such a senseless and vicious way is shocking and reprehensible."

"My condolences are with the families of the officers who lost their lives in last night's horrific attack, and my thoughts continue to be with the injured and those in the Dallas area affected by this unspeakable tragedy," he said.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott put out a statement just after midnight on Friday, saying, "Our thoughts and prayers are with the Dallas law enforcement community and the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) officers killed and injured this evening. I've spoken to Texas Department of Public Safety Director Steve McCraw and have directed him to offer whatever assistance the City of Dallas needs at this time. In times like this we must remember -- and emphasize -- the importance of uniting as Americans."

Some members of Texas's congressional delegation also used social media to offer their support.

GOP Rep. Pete Sessions wrote on Twitter late Thursday that "as this situation continues to unfold, I'm praying for the brave men and women of the @DallasPD and those in downtown Dallas."

Democratic Rep. Joaquin Castro wrote that "my thoughts and prayers are with the law enforcement officers in Dallas who have been shot and injured tonight."

Gun control advocates sound off

Several Democrats who have been leading voices in the push for gun control legislation also reacted to the news out of Dallas, including Connecticut Sen. Chris Murphy and former Arizona Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, herself a victim of gun violence.

Giffords wrote on Twitter that she was "heartbroken by murder of law enforcement officers in #DallasShooting. We have to do better than this. This is not the America we strive for."

And Murphy -- who launched a Senate filibuster in response to the terror attack in Orlando in an attempt to spur action on gun control legislation -- expressed frustration, placing the Dallas attacks in the larger context of gun violence.

"I DON'T ACCEPT police gunned down by snipers, kids murdered in school, or black men shot during routine stops. I believe we can stop it all," he wrote on Twitter.

Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, a favorite among progressives and a potential running mate for Clinton, expressed sorrow for both the civilians and police officers slain this week in a series of tweets.

"Black Americans shouldn't be killed in routine traffic stops, & police shouldn't be killed while protecting & serving their communities," Warren tweeted.

Quote:Black Americans shouldn't be killed in routine traffic stops, & police shouldn't be killed while protecting & serving their communities.
— Elizabeth Warren (@SenWarren) July 8, 2016

"I wish I had the answers right now to stop the very real pain that people are feeling, but I know this: change must come. It must come now," Warren added.

based upon the part I highlighted with underline ("Federal policing guidelines are needed because “we have 18,000 police departments… [some of which need more training to] go after systemic racism, which is a reality, and to go after systemic bias,” she said."), I think the real meaning is "we need much tighter federal control over local affairs and communities"

I don't think so. I believe it's more about federalizing local police, giving the central power even more control over local matters, and it's about militarizing the local police, making them a subsidiary of the standing army of the entire nation. Both processes have been going on for some time now, accelerated by the Department of Homeland Security, with their Fusion Centers ("Fusion" as in annexing local law enforcement as units of the national military), creation of local SWAT teams where none existed before, and up-armoring every little podunk town in the nation.

As an example, when I was a teenager, there were NO Swat teams in existence anywhere in this region I am in. When I was taking my police training as a young man somewhat later, SWAT teams were still a novelty, found only in the larger urban battlefields.

NOW, in this little podunk place, I had to face down a 12 man SWAT team invading my yard and trying (unsuccessfully) to break into my home unbidden a couple of years ago. I'll tell you the truth, there is a pretty high pucker factor involved in facing that many armed men, pointing assault weapons at you from behind their heavily armored carcasses, when all you have to hand hand is a night shirt and a strong will. It was facing a small army (literally, a mob of soldiers), in what could have become a young war, and there is nothing quite like it for feeling naked on a podium.

Every week or so, I drive past the local PD on my way to get groceries in town, and there is a bright, shiny, black up-armored humvee sitting in the parking lot, just waiting for the outbreak of civil war precipitated by an overbearing Federal government. The feds just up and gave it to the locals to federalize them, courtesy of DHS, and that in a town boasting a declining population of 1,021 souls (2010 census), down from 1,105 in the year 2000.

Nope, it's about Federal control over every little burg in the country under the guise of "standardization", and minimizing the power of localities to find their own solutions that actually work for them and their local constituents in favor of centralized iron-handed control from hundreds of miles away.

it's about building an empire and subjugating the citizens.

ABSOLUTELY!  I read something the other day (looked but couldn't find the article) about where the Big O is trying to federalize ALL the police across America so they will be under his command when he calls for Martial Law.  That way, there won't be anyone out there to fight back.  That's also his agenda for pushing the No Guns to citizens.  He wants us all to be completely vulnerable when they come to take us to the FEMA camps! tinyok

I might have posted that article in my thread about the Cabal Take-down.  I haven't looked there.

It's a miscalculation to think there won't be anyone out there to fight back. I believe the thinking is that they will already have folks in place to keep the locals under control. I think that's a miscalculation, too. I think the US has around 2 million people under arms in the national military, and I think there are around 750,000 law enforcement officers nation wide. Assuming that every one of those bought that party line hook line and sinker, and NONE defected or deserted (a mighty big if, given the circumstances, I think) We have only to compare that against 20 million or so every year that buy deer stamps to hit the woods - ALL of them armed, else there would be no point in going deer hunting. Less than 3 million vs. more than 20 million. Some one isn't doing the calculus on that equation.

Another miscalculation. "Vulnerable" and "temporarily disarmed" are not the same thing. There are folks in this world who  will take exception to armed thugs trying to take advantage of their disarmed situation, armed thugs who miscalculate the odds, placing way too much trust in the fact that they are armed, and not accounting for the human spirit at all. Such people, in sending armed thugs against a certain class of folk, accomplish nothing more than sending arms to the unarmed, and having them hand delivered.

As I've written elsewhere here, I remember Bosnia, where an "unarmed" population whipped the hell out of an armed force, and owned their opponent's arms by the end of things.

There are far more weapons in this world than just mere firearms, and the most potent weapon of all is between your ears.

Here is a great thread on LA that shows, or suggests, that part of these shootings are a "false flag" event.  Please go there and offer your comments.

Don't buy into every allegation of "false flag", because a great many of those allegations are themselves false flags. they are psyops perpetrated by government operatives who are referred to as "internet warriors" or "e-warriors" in certain circles. the objective of them is to get your attention off of the real opposition and direct it at harmless targets while the real opponents clean your clock as you are distracted.

That's the reason there are so many allegations of "false flag" everywhere you look. There are not nearly as many false flag ops run in a given year as there are claims of them. All of the other allegations are just word-wars, meant to distract and confuse you.

Once, I asked a wise man "how do you tell the bad guys from the good guys here?". his reply was simple and straightforward - "The bad guys are the ones shooting at you. Everyone else are just spectators".

If you want to know who your real target is, look for muzzle flashes, not attempts to confuse you with mere words.
