Looks like if they could track everyone, they should be able to find out who Q is.  Either they know and aren't telling because they know that Q is a legit intelligence team, or they suck at their job.

Almost makes me want to stop using my computer.   smallkillingpc

But, I won't.   smallnotamused
Mr. G. says, HELL, they've been Watching, Listening Programing you for Years Now, What are YOU afraid Of?
Your Bank and C/Cards keeps records about you and so does all the credit reporting agencies, but you know that, don't you.
Each time you see your Doctor, they upload your health record to the WWW.
DAMN, your computer browser keeps a record even after you've cleared your browser history, that Big Computer In The Shy, Knows All About You.

The first 3G towers were working by 2002, that was a Large Leap in their Surveillance of knowing your location.

Monitoring your old Landline was Tuff but not Impossible, cell phones allowed you to be monitor easily.

There is another possibility - the one I've been yelling about for a couple years now - that Q is actually working for them, and they don't want to rock the Q boat on account of that, so they stay mum about it.

You know, I had a cell phone that would turn itself on randomly and just sit there listening. I went in to the Android system and disabled that ability, and while I was in there I deleted the location services altogether. That worked ok for a couple of years, and then the company started bugging me to get a new phone, saying the old one would not work with "new infrastructure". I ignored it for a couple more years, and oddly the phone never stopped working like they said it would. Go figure.

I just got a new one, the second new one in a few months, so that it would work with my network extender and I can get signal here now from my very own mini-cell-tower. Instead of going to all that trouble of tweaking the OS, I've started just keeping it in a metal box to eliminate any inbound or outbound signals unless I want one. That has the added advantage of keeping me from being annoyed by those assholes that "have been trying to get in touch with me" about extending my car warranty. Extending? My car warranty ran out 20 years ago - you can't "extend" what ain't there! They started that crap on a brand new phone under a brand new name 3 days - THREE DAYS - in to the phone working.

The old land lines were powered all the time. ALL the time. Even if your house power went out, that phone would still work because it had 45 volts running through it from batteries at the switching station. The hard part was getting into the house to get to the phone to bridge the contacts on the cradle so that the handset was live all the time, and able to pick up room conversations even when it was "hung up".

.
They know your name, address, IP, your online browsing habits, your shopping history, your bank transactions, and a bunch of other stuff about "you". But what do they really know about you?

I suggest cultivating that "you" they don't know about, that they can't really know about without spending a lot of time and money to find out. Let them have that "you" that is in their profiles, it's a straw man. Make your straw man into the gray man, someone who only does traceable activities that are mundane and totally average with few red flags to make them stand out. If your profile has nothing unusual in it and they have little on you for subversive activities, then the real life you can continue under their radar. Too late for me I fear, then again, maybe not.

As a kid, young adult I was very into analog stuff. I designed for my own fun but never used as system that would turn on the mike on the head set of impulse phones, its surprising how good the mike was.
Just as well I was a" good boy" when I was young  tinylaughing

I also believe Q is part of the intel team, its an old trick, as far as intel been able to track everything you do, yes they can track a lot but they are also using another old trick making themselves seem more God like, to keep fear in the people.
