I have the greatest neighbors.

I was given this Royal Poinciana tree by my neighbor.  There is a huge story behind it, and I have pretty much been given the tree to pass on a legacy.

I do not have a green thumb at all, and mostly everything I have been successful in growing seems to do best, the more I leave it alone.

I have to make sure this precious gift not just survives but thrives. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Pic of the tree. I planted it next to the pond.  If that is not the right place I still have time to move it. Planted it today.

That is a nice tree. You have given it plenty of sunlight.
You also gave it lots of room to grow.

I understand they can get very large,  minusculethumbsup2
I use the roots and leaves and flowers in my Herbal Treatments.
You can google the uses but my best use here in Arizona is for Anti-diabetic and arthritis.

I'll attach a link to some the the trees uses. Herbal uses
Remember, most of this tree can be eaten raw, but best when boiled for ten minutes and drank.
Love the leaves on that tree. Definitely would be happy if someone gave me that.  Probably wouldn't survive England's dodgy weather though   minusculebiggrin

Thank you. I didn't know the Poinciana tree had so many medicinal uses.
