Donald Trump on waterboarding: 'We must fight fire with fire'

'Mr Trump is reportedly seeking a review of how the US is conducting its war
on terror, including techniques such as waterboarding.

Donald Trump has hinted he would be willing to contemplate the use of torture
techniques against America's enemies.

In his first one-to-one television interview since his inauguration, the US President
said senior officials had told him that so-called enhanced interrogation techniques
did work.

His administration is reportedly seeking a review of how the US is conducting its war
on terror, including interrogation techniques such as waterboarding and whether
CIA "black site" prisons overseas should be reopened.

Torture techniques are regarded as illegal under US and international law.

Mr Trump said he would be guided by his cabinet members - including CIA director
Mike Pompeo, who has ruled out using torture, and defence secretary James Mattis,
who told the President that it is counter-productive...'

Don't forget MSM, never call him President up front and begin to massage
a narrative that implies President Trump is all for torturing.

In fact, give it a week and then say he likes to torture... hint at that he enjoys...
no, needs to torture black people, gay people and women.
Yeah, that'll do it.
They (who ever THEY are) gets around all the legalese by shipping dirt bags off to rendition sights in other countries where those who are in charge are not squeamish about extracting information by any means necessary.. May you and I never get to experience their methods... I have been waterboarded during a survival training exercise.. It will make one talk for you are sure you are going to suffocate and die after even a short time... However just because you talk does not mean what you say is truth..

I certainly wouldn't wish to undergo waterboarding and as you say, those agencies that use
that tactic know that if it's agreed to not you use it in your country, their dialectic is to perform
it in another.

If the enemy doesn't play by the 'rules' then....?
Waterboardings tame in comparison to few things learned over the years ......   one does whats necessary to get the job done .... for those that are squeamish .... no need to apply ... .
Anyone believing that our governments don't use dreadful tactics to get info - whether it is approved or denied by top government officials - is just plain oblivious.

Fight fire with fire?

Sometimes, you need an explosion to extinguish a fire. At least, Trump, again, says it as it is.

Which is more than most Muslim Leaders of the M.E that say that they don't support terror.

Yep. Sure. I buy it.
